Praying pro-lifers see positive results
Charlie Butts - OneNewsNow - 7/27/2010 4:40:00 AMPro-lifers who prayed at a well-publicized abortion clinic in Rockford, Illinois, are claiming success after a number of women chose life over abortion.

The clinic is nationally known for the verbal attacks initiated by the landlord against God and Christians, and also for that owner's degrading attacks against pro-life prayer warriors. Residents from the city recently surrounded the clinic, along with Roman Catholic priests and Protestants, and silently prayed for the unborn who were scheduled to be aborted.

"Lo and behold, a short time later, a mother comes out. She talks with a sidewalk counselor; she chose life," reports pro-lifer Kevin Rilott. "Another two women came out and didn't speak to us, but they left before the abortionist arrived, so they could not have had abortions. And then another mother came out, and she joyfully told us that she chose life."

He believes a total of four babies' lives were saved by mothers who spared themselves the possible physical and emotional consequences of abortion. "We saw the effects of what happens when the people of God come together in love for Christ and love for each other, and we pray," the pro-lifers shares.

To a visibly upset clinic owner, the praying group potentially cost the clinic several thousand dollars in the day's business. Rilott feels the success should serve as motivation for pro-lifers throughout the country who pray for the same results in their city.
