A Sure Cure Three Pastors in the south were having lunch in a diner. One said "Ya know, since summer started I've been having trouble with bats in my loft and attic at church. I've tried everything--noise, spray, cats--nothing seems to scare them away. Another said "Yea, me too. I've got hundreds living in my belfry and in the narthex attic. I've even had the place fumigated, and they won't go away." The third said, "I baptized all mine, and made them members of the church... Haven't seen one back since!!!" Author is Unknown
BEING SET FREE How many times have we wanted to be set free of bondage, sin, satan? Do we ask it everyday? Yes, we do. Any way I do want to be set free of bondage, sin, satan. Our bodies are to be the Holy Temple of God. But, yet we treat it bad. Some too to over indulge ourselves. To much of anything isn't good for our bodies, our soul. The only thing we cannot get enough of is Chocolate, oh I mean God. That is what we should indulge ourselves in GOD! Our minds, our bodies, our spirit would be free. If only we would indulge ourselves in God! One way is putting God first! It's the only way. Matthew 6:33 But seek first the Kingdom of God & His righteousness, & all these things shall be added to you. 1 Timothy 4:8 For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is & of that which is to come. We need to get our eyes on God, not natural things; but on God. We need to press forward to our portion of God. We need to seek Him first & His righteousness. Most people will say seek God but that verse also says 'His righteousness. How many of God's people are missing the mark. A lot! Just throwing away their God given, blood bought right to healing, health, freedom of bondage, freedom of sin, and freedom of satan. And non-christians are comeing behind us and picking it up. It's was the same in Mark 7:24-30 as the Syro-Phoenician's Daughter. She keep asking Jesus to cast out a demon from her daughter. We should seek first the Kingdom of God & His righteousness. The Bible is the word of God. Does the bible say that it's gonna be easy. No, it doesn't. As Smith Wigglesworth wrote: 'And though you may be deep in sin, you can come to HIm in repentance, & He will forgive you & cleanse & heal you.' Joel 3:21 & Isaiah 4:4 That He will purged the blood, by spirit of judgement & the spirit of burning. In other words He will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed. Smith Wigglesworth puts into a good light ' This is as much as to say He will provide new life within, The life of Jesus Christ, God's Son, can so purify men's hearts & minds that become entirely transformed, spirit, soul, & body.' Praise God!!! We have to get rid of our self-righteousness & get into God's Kingdom & His righteousness!. Putting our eyes upon Jesus & not the trouble, the bondage, the sin, & satan. Confessing our sins to Him then yes, we become over-comers Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, & do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin & death Romans 6:18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righeousness The only way you can fail is you are not believing Him or His Word. So, all you need to do is BELIEVE!! Can you believe? Ask Him to help you believe! Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them. "With men this impossible, but with God all things are possible. BELIEVE!!

True Story

A true story. This one checked out on snopes.com Have a great day! An Iowa boy .. John works at the Cargill plant in Eddyville Iowa Wouldn't it be fitting if this went completely around the world!..... This needs to make headline news...not some of the other junk that makes the news these days!!! Like the Rosie O'Donnell war of words...celeb weddings...who's not wearing undies...etc. It's a tough, but heartwarming story...with a picture of John Gebhardt in Iraq John Gebhardt's wife, Mindy, said that this little girl's entire family was executed. The insurgents intended to execute the little girl also, and shot her in the head...but they failed to kill her. She was cared for in John's hospital and is healing up, but continues to cry and moan. The nurses said John is the only one who seems to calm her down, so John has spent the last four nights holding her while they both slept in that chair. The girl is coming along with her healing. He is a real Star of the war, and represents what America is trying to do. This, my friends, is worth sharing. Go for it!! You'll never see things like this in the news. Please keep this going. Nothing will happen if you don't, but the American public needs to see pictures like this and needs to realize that what we're doing over there is making a difference. Even if it is just one little girl at a time.

Hal Lindsey Report

'The Hal Lindsey Report' Jim Bramlett Mar 28, 2009 This week on 'The Hal Lindsey Report' On this week's edition of "The Hal Lindsey Report," I'll share some thoughts about the importance of the current American and global economic crises in the light of end-times prophecy. I'll also report some of the latest unbelievable developments. President Obama showed up in Hollywood last week to do something that's never been done before. He appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." He is the first sitting President to appear on a late night talk show. He pulled out all the stops and went into full campaign mode to promote his agenda. Speaking of Hollywood, if I wrote a movie script with some of the nutty shenanigans we're seeing in the Congress, I'd be laughed out of town. They would tell me that a good script needs to be at least 'plausible.' Apparently that's not a requirement for Congressional proposals. It's obvious to me that all the 2009 Oscars for best actors are already sown up. The winners will be Pelosi, Frank, Reid, and Dodd. The President won't be considered since he's in a league of his own. Seriously, though, I believe that the 'rage' over the AIG bonuses is manufactured and orchestrated to divert attention away from the misdeeds and incompetence of the government, past and present. Further, I think it's a diversion to allow quick passage of the President's budget and a tool to facilitate the inclusion of some of its more radical proposals. This $3.5 trillion budget poses a literal threat to our nation's future. The Congressional Budget Office estimates it will produce almost $10 trillion in deficits over the next decade," more than four times the deficits of the Bush presidency. Senator Judd Gregg says "our country will go bankrupt." Folks, we are facing serious challenges here in America. The Federal Reserve, with the Treasury's acquiescence, is issuing fiat currency at an unprecedented pace. $1 trillion in just the last few days. That means the value of the dollar is eroding rapidly. Russia and China are both calling for the US dollar to be replaced as the world's reserve currency. Even socialist Eastern European states are lecturing us about our wanton spending spree! And yet the new Administration plunges headlong toward its ambitious goals of nationalized health care, a redistribution of the wealth of its citizens, and the unionization and nationalization of our nation's financial systems and major corporations. We need to seek God earnestly for His mercy to be extended to our nation in these dark days. This week, I'll also report on the new threats facing Israel. A recent article in The International Herald Tribune describes Israel as the world's pariah nation. It identifies Israel's settlement on land it "captured in 1967," its "economic strangling of Gaza," and its "growing indifference toward a Palestinian state" as reasons why Israel has lost favor throughout the world. The writer argues that there is even a chill within the American Jewish community toward Israel. (Bramlett note: These next two paragraphs are especially revealing and ominous!) And just this past week, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces visited Washington. He had vital information about Iran to share with his American counterparts. He cut short his visit after he was refused meetings with President Obama, Vice President Biden, Secretary of Defense Gates, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Admiral Mullen, and National Director of Intelligence Blair. One diplomat said that the Americans didn't want to talk about Iran, they wanted to talk about Palestine! The Israeli news magazine, Israel Today, is reporting that its sources say that President Obama intends to "break America's long ties of friendship with Israel, and maybe even take steps toward the dissolution of the Jewish state." The Bible warns that it is a "fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." America has increasingly interfered in the affairs of the Israeli state, forcing it to give up its God-granted land to its enemy. Could it be that the crises we are now facing are the result of America's actions toward Israel? I'll share some thoughts on that. When you intercede for America, please pray for the peace of Jerusalem, too. Don't miss this week's Report on TBN, Daystar, Inspiration (cable only), CPM Network, various local stations, www.hallindsey.com or www.hischannel.com God Bless You, Hal Lindsey

Subject: Book Of Books This book, the Bible contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of life, the doom of sinners, the happiness of believers. Read it to be wise. Believe it to be safe. Practice it to be holy. It gives light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. It is the traveler's map, the soldier's sword, the Christian's chart. Here Paradise is restored: Heaven is opened and the gates of Hell described. Christ is its Theme, our good its design and the glory of God its end. It should fill the memory, rule the heart, and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently, prayerfully. It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory, a river of pleasure. It is given us in life, will be open in judgment, and remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, rewards the greatest labor, and condemns all who trifle with it. The Bible sets forth two things - the Cross and the Throne. The Old Testament points toward the Cross. The Gospel tells the story of the Cross. The Epistles point toward the Throne. The Revelation tells the story of the Throne. The Old Testament tells us what sin leads to and ends with the words: "Lest I come and smite the earth with a curse." (Malachi 4:6) The New Testament shows the way out of sin and ends thus: "The grace of our LORD Jesus be with you all".

Being needed

MAGNOLIAS...........By Edna Ellison I spent the week before my daughter's June wedding running last-minute trips to the caterer, florist, tuxedo shop, and the church about forty miles away. As happy as I was that Patsy was marrying a good Christian young man, I felt laden with responsibilities as I watched my budget dwindle . . So many details, so many bills, and so little time. My son Jack was away at college, but he said he would be there to walk his younger sister down the aisle, taking the place of his dad who had died a few years before. He teased Patsy, saying he'd wanted to give her away since she was about three years old! To save money, I gathered blossoms from several friends who had large magnolia trees. Their luscious, creamy-white blooms and slick green leaves would make beautiful arrangements against the rich dark wood inside the church. After the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding, we banked the podium area and choir loft with magnolias. As we left just before midnight, I felt tired but satisfied this would be the best wedding any bride had ever had! The music, the ceremony, the reception - and especially the flowers - would be remembered for years.. The big day arrived - the busiest day of my life - and while her bridesmaids helped Patsy to dress, her fiancé Tim walked with me to the sanctuary to do a final check. When we opened the door and felt a rush of hot air, I almost fainted; and then I saw them - all the beautiful white flowers were black. Fun eral black. An electrical storm during the night had knocked out the air conditioning system, and on that hot summer day, the flowers had wilted and died. I panicked, knowing I didn't have time to drive back to our hometown, gather more flowers, and return in time for the wedding.. Tim turned to me. 'Edna, can you get more flowers? I'll throw away these dead ones and put fresh flowers in these arrangements.' I mumbled, 'Sure,' as he be-bopped down the hall to put on his cuff links. 0A Alone in the large sanctuary, I looked up at the dark wooden beams in the arched ceiling. 'Lord,' I prayed, 'please help me. I don't know anyone in this town. Help me find someone willing to give me flowers - in a hurry!' I scurrie d out praying for four things: the blessing of white magnolias, courage to find them in an unfamiliar yard, safety from any dog that may bite my leg, and a nice person who would not get out a shotgun when I asked to cut his tree to shreds. As I left the church, I saw magnolia trees in the distance. I approached a house....No dog in sight. I knocked on the door and an older man answered. So far so good. No shotgun. When I stated my plea the man beamed, 'I'd be happy to!' He climbed a stepladder and cut large boughs and handed them down to me. Minutes later, as I lifted the last armload into my car trunk, I said, 'Sir, you've made the mother of a bride happy today.' 'No, Ma'am,' he said. 'You don't understand what's happening here.' 'What?' I asked. 'You see, my wife of sixty-seven years died on Monday. On Tuesday I received friends at the funeral home, and on Wednesday . . .. He paused. I saw tears welling up in his eyes. 'On Wednesday I buried her.' He! looked away.. 'On Thursday most of my out-of-town relatives went back=2 0home, and on Friday - yesterday - my children left.' I nodded. 'This morning,' he continued, 'I was sitting in my den crying out loud. I miss her so much. For the last sixteen years,20as her health got worse, she needed me. But now nobody needs me.. This morning I cried, 'Who needs an eighty-six-year-old wore-out man? Nobody!' I began to cry louder.. 'Nobody needs me!' About that time, you knocked, and said, 'Sir, I need you.' I stood with my mouth open. He asked, 'Are you an angel? The way the light shone around your head into my dark living room...' I assured him I was no angel. He smiled. 'Do you know what I was thinking when I handed you those magnolias?' 'No.' 'I decided I'm needed. My flowers are needed. Why, I might have a flower ministry! I could give them to everyone! Some caskets at the funeral home have no flowers. People need flowers at times like that and I have lots of them. They're all over the backyard! I can give them to hospitals, churches - all sorts of places. You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to serve the Lord until the day He calls me home!' I drove back to the church, filled with wonder. On Patsy's wedding day, if anyone had asked me to encourage someone who was hurting, I woul d have said, 'Forget it! It's my only daughter's wedding, for goodness' sake! There is no way I can minister to anyone today.' But God found a way - Through dead flowers. 'Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.' If you have missed knowing me, you have missed nothing. If you have missed some of my emails, you may have missed a laugh. But, if you have missed knowing my LORD and SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, you have missed everything in the world. May God's blessings be upon you. THIS IS SO TRUE, BEING NEEDED IS SO UPLIFTING TO EACH OF US.

NEED WASHING?? A little girl had been shopping with her Mom in Target. She must have been 6 years old, this beautiful red haired, freckle faced image of innocence. It was pouring outside. The kind of rain that gushes over the top of rain gutters, so much in a hurry to hit the earth it has no time to flow down the spout. We all stood there under the awning and just inside the door of the Target. We waited, so me patiently, others irritated because nature messed up their hurried day. I am always mesmerized by rainfall. I got lost in the sound and sight of the heavens washing away the dirt and dust of the world. Memories of running, splashing so carefree as a child came pouring in as a welcome reprieve from the worries of my day. The little voice was so sweet as it broke the hypnotic trance we were all caught in 'Mom let's run through the rain,' she said. 'What?' Mom asked. 'Lets run through the rain!' She repeated 'No, honey. We'll wait until it slows down a bit,' Mom replied. This young child waited about another minute and repeated: 'Mom, let's run through the rain,' 'We'll get soaked if we do,' Mom said. 'No, we won't, Mom.. That's not what you said this morning,' the young girl said as she tugged at her Mom's arm. This morning? When did I say we could run through the rain and not get wet? 'Don't you remember? When you were talking to Daddy about his cancer, you said, 'If God can get us through this, he can get us through anything!' The entire crowd stopped dead silent. I swear you couldn't hear anything but the rain. We all stood silently. No one came or left in the next few minutes.. Mom paused and thought for a moment about what she would say. Now some would laugh it off and scold her for being silly. Some might even ignore what was said. But this was a moment of affirmation in a young child's life.. A time when innocent trust can be nurtured so that it will bloom into faith. 'Honey, you are absolutely right. Let's run through the rain. If GOD let's us get wet, well maybe we just needed washing,' Mom said. Then off they ran. We all stood watching, smiling and laughing as they darted past the cars and yes, through the puddles. They held their shopping bags over their heads just in case. They got soaked. But they were followed by a few who screamed and laughed like children all the way to their cars. And yes, I did. I ran. I got wet. I needed washing. Circumstances or people can take away your material possessions, they can take away your money, and they can take away your health. But no one can ever take away your precious memories...So, don't forget to make time and take the opportunities to make memories everyday. To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven. I HOPE YOU STILL TAKE THE TIME TO RUN THROUGH THE RAIN. Send this to the people you'll never forget It's a short message to let them know that you'll never forget them. If you don't send it to anyone, it means you're in a hurry. Take the time to live!!! Keep in touch with your friends, you never know when you'll need each other -- and don't forget to run in the rain!
That Something Within Jackie Dove-Miller There is something within me That is strong enough To keep me from toppling Over the edge of Sanity, Over the ledge offrustration Or over the hedge ofAll-out foolishness. It leads me to prayer When I would otherwiseBreak. There is something in my make-up Or my bringing up Or just the way I look up That straightens my backAnd bows my head. It becomes the focus of my meditation. The sentiment in my supplication, The reason for my transformation. That thing inside me Has me choosing light Though darkness covers all. It wells up like ocean waves Come to drown those who Think they deserve to push me back Hold me down or Steal my joy. I have a spiritual strength that Grows deeper and speaks louder as I get to knowMore about who I am. "Where did IT come from?" Someone recently asked. I answered, "In my developing stage, someone said out loud, 'You sure are good at _______,'" My puny soul embraced that seed, and it planted itself deep inside me and took root. I tested that tiny bit of ego-strength against The negative family messages that focused on What I was NOT good at, making me feel small And disconnected. I was NOT good at being like my mother Who was all but saintly. I was NOT good at being Like my sister who was beautiful and dainty. I was NOT ballerina thin, nor prissy neat, But I WAS good at ________ And when I looked a little further, I discovered that I was GOOD ENOUGH. Good enough to bear fruit And reap a harvest. Good enough to plant a seed In others and watch them growMagnificent and free. I was GOOD ENOUGH to relate toThe GOD inside of me. So, this poem is for all my sister-friends Who don't yet know that YOU are better than what your mothers, your teachers, the men in your life, or even the good sisters in church have called you. Because God has called you Blessed And HIS is the only voice that matters. So, here and now, I pray OUR sister-prayer, Dear Lord, Help me to releasethe self-doubt That lives in my heart. Remind me daily That I am the product of Your hands... And all that you make... ALL THAT YOU MAKE Is Perfect. Amen
THE BUZZARD: THE BAT: THE BUMBLEBEE: THE BUZZARD: If you put a buzzard in a pen that is 6 feet by 8 feet and is entirely open atthe top, the bird, in spite of its ability to fly, will be an absolute prisoner. The reason is that a buzzard always begins a flight from the ground with a runof 10 to 12 feet. Without space to run, as is its habit, it will not evenattempt to fly, but will remain a prisoner for life in a small jail with no top. THE BAT: The ordinary bat that flies around at night, a remarkable nimble Creature in the air, cannot take off from a level place. If it is placedOn the floor or flat ground, all it can do is shuffle about helplessly and, No doubt, painfully, until it reaches some slight elevation from which it Can throw itself into the air. Then, at once, it takes off like a flash. THE BUMBLEBEE: A bumblebee, if dropped into an open tumbler, will be there Until it dies, unless it is taken out. It never sees the means of escape At the top, but persists in trying to find some way out through the sides Near the bottom. It will seek a way where none exists, until it completely Destroys itself. PEOPLE:In many ways, we are like the buzzard, the bat, and the bumblebee. We struggle about with all our problems and frustrations, never realizing That all we have to do is look up! Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in ourCreator who loves us.

A pastor debates a Muslim Jim Bramlett Mar 24, 2009 This is a true story.A Muslim cleric challenged a Christian pastor to debate on the merits of Islam vs. the merits of Christianity. The Muslim eagerly began. He ranted on and on how superior Islam is. After a long time, his belligerent tirade finally over, the Muslim closed by angrily challenging the pastor, "Now how do you respond to all that I said?"After that lengthy barrage of Islamic words, the pastor was not sure how would be the best way to make his case for Christ, so he prayed and asked God to show him what to say. God's supernatural answer quickly came. It was brilliant (of course) and divinely simple. As God can do, the Holy Spirit-inspired words cut like a knife and totally disarmed the Muslim, who had no answer. His mouth was closed. The answer given was the essence of the biblical revelation of God in Christ. In only four words, the pastor merely said, "My God loves me."Game, set, match. It was all over. Case closed."Love never fails" (1 Corinthians 13:8).

If you get a chance please read the book " All of Grace " by C.H. Spurgeon One more of C.H. Sprugeon from his book "All of Grace". Pgs 124-125 ""In what the Lord has done, we see strong reasons for our preservation & future glory, because the Lord has called us into the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ. It means into partnership with Jesus Christ, & I would have you carefully consider what this means. If you are indeed called by divine grace, you have come into fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ, so as to be joint-owner with him in all things. Henceforth you are one with him in the sight of the Most High. The Lord Jesus bare you sins in his own body on the tree, being made a curse for you; & at the same time has become your righteousness, so that you are justified in him. You are Christ's & Christ is yours. As Adam stood for his descendants, so does Jesus stand for all who are in him. As husband & wife are one, so is Jusus one with all those who are united to him by faith; one by a conjugal union which can never be broken. More that this, believers are members of the body of Christ, & so are one with him by a loving, living, lasting union. God has called us into this union, this fellowship, this partnership, & by this very fact he has given us the token & pledge of our being confirmed to the end."" These are shouting words! Joint-owner with Jesus in ALL things! One in Christ with this union. Yes, it's shouting words!! Go Praise the Lord! I'm praising this from Him!! In Christ Jesus Name our partner, Rev. Londa Picard
C.H. Spurgeon; All of Grace pg. 120, 121 ""Multitudes of godly men & women have exhibited lives so transparent, so consistent throughout, that none could gainsay them. The Lord will be able to say of many a believer, as he did of Job, when Satan stood before him, "Hast thou considered my servant, a perfect & an upright man, one that feareth God & escheweth evil?"" ""This is the trumph of the saints -- to continue to follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth, maintaing our integrity as before the living God. May we never turn aside into crooked ways, & give cause to the adversary to blaspheme. Of the true believer it is written, "He keepeth himself, & that wicked one toucheth him not." May it be so written concerning us!"" Praise God that we as true Christians can stand as Job did! A perfect & an uprigfht mean. Wow! That our Lord goes everywhere we go. Ane if we keep ourselves in the Lord; the wicked one toucheth us not! Now that is something to really get excited about!! Just think of it!! Praise God!!
C.H. Spurgeon from his book "All of Grace" Spurgeon has some very good points & that is why I'm passing it on. Pg. 119 & 120 "Paul also declares his experctation that the Corinthian saints would be "confirmed to the end blameless." This blamelessness is a precious part of our keeping. To be kept holy is better than merely to be kept safe. It is a dreadful thing when you see religious people blundering out of one dishonor into another; they have not believed in the power of our Lord to make them blameless. The lives of some professing Christians are a series of stumbles; they never quite down, & yet they are seldom on their feet. This is not a fit thing for a believer; he is invited to walk with God, and by faith he can attain to steady perseverance in holiness; and he ought to do so. The Lord is able, not only to save us from hell, but to keep us from falling. We need not yield to temptation. Is it not written, "Sin shall not have dominion over you?" The Lord is able to keep the feet of his saints; & he will do it if we will trust him to do so. We need not defile our garments, we may by his grace keep them unspotted from the world; we are bound to do this, "for without holiness no man shall see the Lord". "

I found the wording of "All of Grace" by C.H. Spurgeon on Pages112-113 to be up-lifting & what Christians go through. So you are not alone. "This is true of the most gifted of the saints -- of those men at Corinth who were enriched with all uttance & with all knowledge. They needed to be confirmed to the end, or else their gifts & attainments would prove their ruin. If we had the tongues of men & of angels, if we did not receive fresh grace, where should we be? If we had all experence till we were fathers in the church -- if we had been taught of God so as to understand all mysteries -- yet we could not live a single day without the divine life flowing into us from our Covenant Head. How could we hope to hold on for a single hour. to say nothing of a livetime, unless the Lord should hold us on? He who began the good work in us must perform it unto the day of Christ, or it will prove a painful failure. This great necessity arises very much FROM OUR OWN SELVES . In some there is a painful fear that they shall not persevere in grace because they know their own fickleness. Certain persons are constitutionally unstable. Some men are by nature conservative, not to say obstinate; but others are as naturally variable & volatile. Like butterflies they flit from flower to flower, till they visit all the beauties of the garden & settle upon none of them. They are never long enough in one place to do any good; not even in their business nor in their intellectual pursuits. Such person may well be afraid that ten, twenty, thirty, forty, perhaps fifty years of continuous religious watchfulness will be a great deal too much for them. We see men joining first one church & then another, till they come full circle. They do everything by turns & nothing lasts long. Such have double need to pray that they may be divinely confirmed, & maybe made not only steadfast but unmoveable, or otherwise they will not be found "always abounding in the work of the Lord." All of us, even if we have no constitutional temptation to ficleness, must fell our own weakness if we are really quickened of God. Dear reader, do you not find enough in any one single day to make you stumble? You that deire to walk in perfect holiness, as I trust you do; you that have set before you a high standard of what a Christian should be -- do you not find that before the breakfast things are cleared away from the table, you have displayed enough folly to meke you ashamed of yourselves: If we were to shut ourselves up in a one cell of a hermit, temptation would follow us; for as long as we cannot escape from ourselves that within our hearts which should make us watchful & humble before God. If He does not confirm us, we are so weak that we shall stumble & fall; not overturned by an enemy, but by our carelessness. Lord, be thou our strength We are weakness itself."

FOCA

Images are not displayed. Display images below - Always display images from action@aulaction.org Click here to view this message in your browser. You are receiving this email because of your relationship with Americans United for Life (AUL), AUL Action, or AUL Action's FightFOCA.com petition. If you feel you have received this email in error, please accept our apologies. You may change your preferences or unsubscribe by clicking here. Dear Londa, A couple of weeks ago, I thought we had won the first battle. Pro-abortion forces were saying that while the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) was important, it was no longer among their top priorities. Instead they were going to start with working to get our tax dollars to pay for abortion here in the United States as well as in countries around the world. We call this strategy FOCA “by-stealth.” But now, a staffer for staunchly pro-abortion Congressman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, "[FOCA] is among the congressman's priorities. We expect to reintroduce it sooner rather than later." Because you signed the FightFOCA petition and are on the FightFOCA mailing list, taking action when needed, we have been able to delay FOCA and make President Obama break his promise that FOCA would be “the first thing” he would sign as President. But, while we wait for Congressman Nadler and his allies to bring FOCA forward, I need you to be a part of other battles we are already fighting. As you may know, FightFOCA is just one project of AUL Action, the legislative arm of Americans United for Life, the first national prolife organization in the country. Our vision is a nation in which everyone is welcomed in life and protected in law. That means that we don’t just focus on fighting FOCA. We also work to pass pro-life laws in Congress and in state capitols across the nation. And, in addition to opposing abortion, we also help defend human life by fighting physician assisted suicide, working to ban human cloning and destructive embryo research, protecting pro-life healthcare workers from discrimination, and more. Getting Real with God

Getting Real with God Real what is the meaning; Webster says - it's true/not imitation. At times we don't even get real with ourselves alone God. But, we should because He already knows us. He knows the time, minute you were born. He was there. He was there when you first crawled, and then stumble with your first steps. He was there when you started school, when you finished. He really know you. Like my sister would say cowboy up to it. Yes, make those few steps back and really look at what God has for you, what God knows about you. Your pride, your love for you family, your soft spot, chocalote.God knows how many hairs that is on your head and how many more you need to lose, that will make you balled. God make you!! He wanted you to grow. He wanted you to learn. To look for Him, that He could help His children. Didn't he send His only begotten Son? But, He loved you enough that He gave you a chose. Most parents push, & I do mean push there children into everything even if the child doesn't want it. God is not that selfish. He loves you. So, does the parents but, not like God does.God is always there. Not but a cry out away. God has put every answer in His Word. He promises us rest Matthew 11:28-30 28) Come unto me all ye that labour, & are heavy laden, & I will give you rest. 29) Take my yoke upon you, & learn of me, for I am meek & lowly in heart; & ye shall find rest upon your souls. 30) For my yoke is easy, & my burden is light Right here in Matthew 11:28-30 said that who labours & heavy laden He gives us rest. This is both a phyical & spiritual rest. A rest most will not know because they don't get real with God. We all try to hide our sins & spiritual needs. But you cannot hide them from God. Tell Him how you feel. Let Him know from you. That is one thing that He wants from us. To approch Him with everything! Needs, sorrow, happiness, in all things. He does answer prayer, but maybe not the way you want. God does know best! In Christ Name, AMEN & AMEN Rev. Londa Picard

Fiery Orly Taitz, a Blonde Russian-Born Attorney Jim BramlettMar 16, 2009 Blonde Russian-Born Attorney Tenaciously Pursues Justice Over Obama Citizenship I Did It. Justice Roberts Agreed to read all of my documentshttp://www.defendourfreedoms.us/ by Orly Taitz, esq.March 14, 2009Yesterday I traveled to Idaho. I was able to address Chief Justice Roberts during the question answer session after his lecture. There were numerous cameras recording this event and simultaneous feed broadcast to all the campuses of the University of Idaho. Roughly 5,000 people in all the campuses had an opportunity to hear what I had to say, it is in video archives and now everybody knows the truth and knows that leftist media thugs such as Seattle Washington Observer shamelessly twist the truth to fit their Pro Obama blind idiot agenda. It was a grueling day, I left home at 3 in the morning after sleeping only 3 hours and drove to San Diego, from there flew to Salt Lake City, from there to Tacoma, Washington, from there I drove for a couple of hours to be in Moscow Idaho, to address Chief Justice Roberts. After the lecture the audience was told, that they can ask questions, give their name and present a shot question. I was the first to run to the microphone and told Roberts. " My name is Orly Taitz, I am an attorney from Southern California. I left home at three o'clock in the morning and flew and drove thousands of miles to talk to you and ask you a question". Roberts seemed to be impressed by that and I continued. "Are you aware that there is criminal activity going on in the Supreme Court of the United States. I have submitted my case Lightfoot v Bowen to you. You agreed to hear it in the conference of all 9 Justices on January 23. Your clerk, Danny Bickle, on his own accord refused to forward to you an important supplemental brief, he has hidden it from you and refused to post it on the docket. Additionally, my case was erased from the docket, completely erased one day after the inauguration, only two days before it was supposed to be heard in the conference. Outraged citizens had to call and demand for it to be posted. On Monday I saw Justice Scalia and he had absolutely no knowledge of my case, that was supposedly heard in conference on January 23rd. It is inexplicable, particularly knowing that roughly half a million American citizens have written to him and to you Justice Roberts demanding that you hear this issue of eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama aka Barry Soetoro to be the President of the United States." At that point I have shown to Roberts a stack of papers, that I held. Those were my pleadings and printouts that I got from WorldNetDaily. It contained your names, names of about 350,000 that signed the petition. (there were others that have written individual letters,) .. Roberts stated "I will read your documents, I will review them. Give them to my Secret Service Agent and I will review them". His Secret Service Agent approached me and stated " Give me all the documents, I promise you Justice Roberts will get them". I had a full suitcase of documents. The agent went to look for a box, he found a large box to fit all the documents, he showed me his badge, and introduced himself as Gilbert Shaw, secret Service Agent assigned to the security of Chief Justice Roberts. I gave him: Motion for reconsideration of Lightfoot v Bowen with all the supplemental briefs. Quo Warranto Easterling et al v Obama et al 3300 pages of your names, people that signed WorldNetDaily petition, demanding that the Supreme Court hear Obama elligibility case. Copy of a 164 page dossier and all the other documents sent to Eric Holder, Attorney General, describing suspected criminal activity, associated with Obama and his supporters. It described a whole campaign of cyber crimes, intimidation, harassment, defamation and assassination of character, impersonation of US army officer Scott Easterling and impersonation of me, it showed screen shots of information being erased from the docket of the Supreme Court, it contained information of court cases being created, fabricated in order to commit voter fraud and sway public opinion, it contained a list of a 100 addresses for Barack Obama with numerous different social security numbers, issued all over the country and attached to those addresses. It showed the address Obama used in Somerville Massachusetts, attached to the social security of a man who is 118 years old. It showed evidence of Obama committing perjury, lying under oath. It had his school registration from Indonesia under the name Barry Soetoro, citizen of Indonesia, religion Muslim. Right after this page there was a page of Obama's registration to become an attorney and officer of the court in Illinois, where he stated under oath that his name is Barack Hussein Obama and he had no other prior names. It contained a report from a federal agent Steven Coffman, stating that there are numerous signs of forgery in his Selective Service Certificate. It contained a letter from a renown expert Sandra Line, stating that there are signs of forgery in Obama's short version Certification of Live Birth, and original birth certificate needs to be reviewed in order to ascertain his status. It contained 130 current job positions for Barry Obama, Barack H. Obama and Michelle Obama, that were obtained from Intellius Jobs.com. None of them were reported on Obamas' tax returns. All of these documents suggest possible massive tax fraud, corruption of a public official, bribery and massive campaign contributions fraud, whereby large campaign contributions, over allowed limits were reported as fictitious positions with different companies, not surprisingly involving most mainstream media outlets. These need to be reviewed in light of a pattern, I've seen previously. For example, as a State Senator Obama arranged for his friend Robert Blackwell from killerspin to get a grant of $320,000 of our taxpayers money for his ping-pong tournaments. In exchange Blackwell gave Obama back roughly a third, $100,000 in the form of a salary. Similarly Obama arranged for Chicago university hospital to get $1 million grant of our taxpayer money and they gave him back roughly a third $357,000 in the form of a board salary for his wife Michelle for working 20 hours a week, even though Michelle was totally worthless as a board member since she had zero medical education and her law licence is on a mandatory inactive status (I wonder why). I am writing this in a hurry, ready to leave my hotel room, finishing yesterday's dinner leftovers and ready to board a plane for a grueling flight back home. I'll add one more detail. As one of the announcers introduced Roberts, he stated that Roberts has his priorities straight. He described an event when Roberts missed most of a reception because he wanted to be there for his young son, at the sports tournament where his son was participating. He described Roberts as a caring and loving father. At that point I was just about ready to cry. I have 3 sons, I love them too and I would love to be there, attending their events. I am a proud parent. My oldest son scored in top one percent in the Nation in PSATs and he is in an IVY league school studying to be a doctor. He is also a gifted comedian, who formed a stand up comedy improve group and I would love to see him perform. My wo younger sons are great students. My middle son has a beautiful low bass Elvis Presley voice, he sings opera and I would love to hear him perform. My youngest son is a top student taking 5AP classes in tenth grade, gifted mathematician and basketball player, I would love to see him get academic awards and play basketball. I missed time with my children, time that will never come back because a am criss-crossing this country talking to Justices of the Supreme court, Representatives, Senators, FBI agents, Attorney Generals, US attorneys, telling all of them, what is wrong with you? Did some evil magician put a spell on the men in this country and they stopped being men? Why are you afraid to speak up, to stand up for you constitution? Why are you afraid to tell this arrogant jerk from Africa and Indonesia- You need to go home, you cannot be a president and commander in chief because you are not a Natural born Citizen. To be a Natural born Citizen you have to have both parents as citizens. Your father was never a US citizen and you don't qualify and you also spit us in the face by refusing to unseal your vital records. There is no proof that you are even a citizen. For all we know, you need to go back to Kenya and wait for your green card, and that after we try you for all the crimes perpetrated upon American citizens. I hope Justice Roberts teaches his son that he is a descendant of people that were real men and fought in Alamo and at Valley Forge. Chief Justice Roberts has a right to issue a stay and appoint Joe Biden a president pro-tempore until Obama proves his qualifications or until a new president is chosen. I hope Roberts teaches his son by example and not by empty words.

Prayer

This is one of the Best prayers I think I have ever read. PRAY THIS EVEN IF YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE IT!! IT WILL ONLY TAKE A MINUTE. I started not to do this, but as I read it.... I understood God to say, 'You need a miracle tomorrow' so here goes...Prov. 29:25 You never know when God is going to bless you !! Good things happen when you least expect them to !!!!!!!! Dear Lord, I thank You for this day, I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you.I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. And give me the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits.I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak... Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those that will delete this without sharing it with others I pray for those that don't believe. But I thank You that I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes; that they are out of debt and all their needs are met. I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees it in Jesus' name. Amen! God Bless ! ! ! ! ! Just repeat this phrase and see how God moves!! God I love you and I need you, come into my heart, please… Know that you are already blessed by the person who sent this to you. Thank you Gerry for sending this.

God's 26 Guards

God's 26 Guards !! Here's a message that will bring you chills. Have you ever felt the urge to pray for someone and then just put it on a list and said, "I'll pray for them later?"Or has anyone ever called you and said,” I need you to pray for me, I have this need?"Read the following story that was sent to me and may it change the way that you may think about prayer and also the way you pray. You will be blessed by this....A missionary on furlough told this true story while visiting his home church in Michigan."While serving at a small field hospital in Africa, every two weeks I traveled by bicycle through the jungle to a nearby cityfor supplies. This was a journey of two days and required camping overnight at the halfway point. On one of these journeys, I arrived in the city where I planned to collect money from a bank, purchase medicine, and supplies, and then begin my two-day journey back t o the field hospital. Upon arrival in the city, I observed two men fighting, one of whom had been seriously injured. I treated him for his injuries and at the same time talked to him about the Lord. I then traveled two days, camping overnight, and arrived home without incident....Two weeks later I repeated my journey. Upon arriving in the city, I was approached by the young man I had treated. He told me that he had known I carried money and medicines. He said, 'Some friends and I followed you into the jungle, knowing you would camp overnight. We planned to kill you and take your money and drugs. But just as we were about to move into your camp, we saw that you were surrounded by 26 armed guards. At this, I laughed and said that I was certainly all alone in that jungle campsite. The young man pressed the point, however, and said, 'No, sir, I was not the only person to see the guards, my friends also saw them, and we all counted them. It was because of those guards that we were afraid and left you alone.'At this point in the sermon, one of the men in the congregation jumped to his feet and interrupted the missionary and asked if he could tell him the exact day this happened. The missionary told the congregation the date, and the man who interrupted told him this story:"On the night of your incident in Africa, it was morning here and I was preparing to go play golf. I was about to putt when I felt the urge to pray for you. In fact, the urging of the Lord was so strong, I called men in this church to meet with me here in the sanctuary to pray for you.Would all of those men who met with me on that day stand up?"The men who had met together to pray that day stood up. The missionary wasn't concerned with who they were, he was too busy counting how many men he saw. There were 26!This story is an incredible example of how the Spirit of the Lord moves in mysterious ways.If you ever hear such prodding, go along with it.Nothing is ever hurt by prayer except the gates of hell. If we all take it to heart, we can turn this world toward God once again. As the above true story clearly illustrates, With God all things are possible". More importantly, how God hears and answers the prayers of the faithful. May the Lord to bless you today, guide you and protect you as you go along your way. Thank You Gerry for sending this. I don't know who wrote this but, it is said to be a true story & I believe that! God does promp us to pray for people! And we should Pray. Even if we don't know the need, God does! Some times we have to use our prayer language or should I say Our Heavenly speaking language. If you don't have that, that is find. God knows and that is what is important for you to know. Praise God for prayer when we are in need. He's there to have others pray! So, listen to the voice of God!!

Stop looking outside for your happiness & start looking straight to God for it. Outward things will not make you happy at all. You keep going on looking for something to make you happy. Homes, money, drink, drugs, clothes, food, porn, & so much more. Only you working with God can do that. You have to believe His Word, His Salvation, His Love. He's always there waiting and willing to hear from you, to be with you, to talk with you. He loves you. You don't have to be perfect, He mets you where you are. He reaches out His hands & love to you. You will have more peace with God. peace with yourself, peace with others, You will not need a material things to keep you happy. It will not be all flowers & sunshine but, a peace that He's there with you to help or take you through the up times, the down times. And the sad times. He loves you & He's there for you. You will never be alone. Call out to Him. He'll come a running. Talk with Him. Talk to Him as you would anybody else. He's there to listen. Reach out! Even Christians look outside instead of the inside for happiness, peace. Don't look at man look at the maker of man. The Father, Son, & Holy Ghost. Be open to their Love in your life, them speaking to you in that small still voice. or Even His Loud voice as sometime He needs to get out attention. But, He's there!
Thank You Gerry & Barb for sending the jokes & info

Funny Irish Jokes

You have to Love the Irish Paddy was driving down the street in a sweat because he had an important meeting and couldn't find a parking place. Looking up to heaven he said, 'Lord take pity on me. If you find me a parking place I will go to Mass every Sunday for the rest of me life and give up me Irish Whiskey!' Miraculously, a parking place appeared.Paddy looked up again and said, 'Never mind, I found one.' * * * * Father Murphy walks into a pub in Donegal, and asks the first man he meets, 'Do you want to go to heaven?' The man said, 'I do, Father.'The priest said, 'Then stand over there against the wall.'Then the priest asked the second man, 'Do you want to go to heaven?''Certainly, Father,' the man replied. 'Then stand over there against the wall,' said the priest. Then Father Murphy walked up to O'Toole and asked, 'Do you want to go to heaven?'O'Toole said, 'No, I don't Father.' The priest said, 'I don't believe this. You mean to tell me that when you die you don't want to go to heaven?'O'Toole said, 'Oh, when I die , yes. I thought you were getting a group together to go right now.' * * * * Paddy was in New York .He was patiently waiting and watching the traffic cop on a busy street crossing. The cop stopped the flow of traffic and shouted, 'Okay, pedestrians.' Then he'd allow the traffic to pass. He'd done this several times, and Paddy still stood on the sidewalk. After the cop had shouted, 'Pedestrians!' for the tenth time, Paddy went over to him and said, 'Is it not about time ye let the Catholics across?' ababab Gallagher opened the morning newspaper and was dumbfounded to read in the obituary column that he had died. He quickly phoned his best friend, Finney. 'Did you see the paper?' asked Gallagher. 'They say I died!!''Yes, I saw it!' replied Finney. 'Where are ye callin' from?' * * * * An Irish priest is driving down to New York and gets stopped for speeding in Connecticut . The state trooper smells alcohol on the priest's breath and then sees an empty wine bottle on the floor of the car. He says, 'Sir, have you been drinking?''Just water,' says the priest. The trooper says, 'Then why do I smell wine?'The priest looks at the bottle and says, 'Good Lord! He's done it again!' * * * * Walking into the bar, Mike said to Charlie the bartender, 'Pour me a stiff one - just had another fight with the little woman.' 'Oh yeah?' said Charlie, 'And how did this one end?''When it was over,' Mike replied, 'She came to me on her hands and knees.''Really,' said Charles, 'Now that's a switch! What did she say?' She said, 'Come out from under the bed, you little chicken.' * * * * Patton staggered home very late after another evening with his drinking buddy, Paddy. He took off his shoes to avoid waking his wife, Kathleen. He tiptoed as quietly as he could toward the stairs leading to their upstairs bedroom, but misjudged the bottom step. As he caught himself by grabbing the banister, his body swung around and he landed heavily on his rump. A whiskey bottle in each back pocket broke and made the landing especially painful. Managing not to yell, Patton sprung up, pulled down his pants, and looked in the hall mirror to see that his butt cheeks were cut and bleeding. He managed to quietly find a full box of Band-Aids and began putting a Band-Aid as best he could on each place he saw blood. He then hid the now almost empty Band-Aid box and shuffled and stumbled his way to bed. In the morning, Patton woke up with searing pain in both his head and butt and Kathleen staring at him from across the room. She said, 'You were drunk again last night weren't you?'Patton said, 'Why you say such a mean thing?''Well,' Kathleen said, 'it could be the open front door, it could be the broken glass at the bottom of the stairs, it could be the drops of blood trailing through the house, it could be your bloodshot eyes, but mostly ..... it's all those Band-Aids stuck on the hall mirror. And yes, I'm Irish, my great-grandfather still had the Irish accent

As Christians we should always keep our eyes on the Lord our God. I know a lot of people start looking at the person who God is using and the Holy Spirit is flowing through. We take our eyes off of Jesus. Keep your eyes on God the Father, Jesus the Son, & the Holy Spirit. We need to chase after what God has for us!! What God is doing in our lives. Don't hunger after somebody else's anointing; Hunger after the anointing of God for you! Because if you use their's, the true anointing of God isn't. Use what God has given you! Walk in the anointing of the Spirit. Do wonders in that anointing. You don't need somebody else's anointing. The Word tell's us all about the anointing & follow the Word's leading. I cannot be another person, God has given me my gifts from Him & He will do that for you also. He's a wonderful God!! And we should all Praise Him 24/7.

A dog had followed his owner to school. His owner was a fourth grader at a public elementary school. However, when the bell rang, the dog sidled inside the building and made it all the way to the child's classroom before a teacher noticed and shooed him outside, closing the door behind him. The dog sat down, whimpered and stared at the closed doors. Then God appeared beside the dog, patted his head, and said, 'Don't feel bad fella'...they won't let ME in either'.
THIS IS FABULOUS!!! It was written by an 8-year-old named Danny Dutton, who lives in Chula Vista , CA . He wrote it for his third grade homework assignment, to 'explain God.' I wonder if any of us could have done as well? [ ... and he had such an assignment, in California , and someone published it, I guess miracles do happen ! ... ] EXPLANATION OF GOD: 'One of God's main jobs is making people. He makes them to replace the ones that die, so there will be enough people to take care of things on earth. He doesn't make grownups, just babies. I think because they are smaller and easier to make. That way he doesn't have to take up his valuable time teaching them to talk and walk. He can just leave that to mothers and fathers.' 'God's second most important job is listening to prayers. An awful lot of this goes on, since some people, like preachers and things, pray at times beside bedtime. God doesn't have time to listen to the radio or TV because of this. Because he hears everything, there must be a terrible lot of noise in his ears, unless he has thought of a way to turn it off.''God sees everything and hears everything and is everywhere which keeps Him pretty busy. So you shouldn't go wasting his time by going over your mom and dad's head asking for something they said you couldn't have. ''Atheists are people who don't believe in God. I don't think there are any in Chula Vista . At least there aren't any who come to our church. ''Jesus is God's Son. He used to do all the hard work, like walking on water and performing miracles and trying to teach the people who didn't want to learn about God. They finally got tired of him preaching to them and they crucified him But he was good and kind, like his father, and he told his father that they didn't know what they were doing and to forgive them and God said O.K.''His dad (God) appreciated everything that he had done and all his hard work on earth so he told him he didn't have to go out on the road anymore. He could stay in heaven. So he did. And now he helps his dad out by listening to prayers and seeing things which are important for God to take care of and which ones he can take care of himself without having to bother God. Like a secretary, only more important.''You can pray anytime you want and they are sure to help you because they got it worked out so one of them is on duty all the time.' 'You should always go to church on Sunday because it makes God happy, and if there's anybody you want to make happy, it's God!Don't skip church to do something you think will be more fun like going to the beach. This is wrong. And besides the sun doesn't come out at the beach until noon anyway. ''If you don't believe in God, besides being an atheist, you will be very lonely, because your parents can't go everywhere with you, like to camp, but God can. It is good to know He's around you when you're scared, in the dark or when you can't swim and you get thrown into real deep water by big kids.''But...you shouldn't just always think of what God can do for you. I figure God put me here and he can take me back anytime he pleases.And...that's why I believe in God.'(If you believe in God, please pass this on, and may God bless you too.)Have an awesome day, and know that someone has thought about you!

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd - Australia

I would say this world could use a leader like this, saying this at least for the free world. It would not bother me at all sending this on to others! Subject: Fw: Whole world Needs A Leader Like This! Subject: FW: Whole world Needs A Leader Like This! Prime Minister Kevin Rudd - Australia Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.. Separately, Rudd angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote: 'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians. ' 'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom' 'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!' 'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.' 'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.' 'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.' 'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.' Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, WE will find the courage to start speaking and voicing the same truths. If you agree please SEND THIS ON and ON to as many people as you know

Subject: ~STAND UP FOR HIM~ Do You Believe ???A girl went to her friends house and she ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small COMMUNITY and she lived only a few blocks away.As she walked along under the bike trail Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger..When she reached the alley, which was a shortcut to her house, she decided to take it.However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her.She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection.Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her...When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there...Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep.Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him.She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before...When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her.She asked if they would ask the man one question.Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, 'Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her.Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're not alone.People will not stand up for God.. PS: God is always there in your heart and loves you no matter what:'If you deny me in front of your friends, I shall deny you in front of my Father'STAND UP FOR HIM "Do not worry about anything;Instead PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING."Philippians 4:6 Author unknown. This one is definitely between you and God. Don't disappoint. Read to the end. GOD: Angels, do you know what I was just thinking about? ANGELS: What were you thinking about? GOD: Christians seem to have forgotten what kind of power they have available and the devil keeps on deceiving them! ANGELS: God, exactly what are you driving at? GOD: I have made my children in such a way that when the people of the world are sitting, they would be standing, when the world is standing, they will stand out, when the world stands out, my children must be outstanding and when the devil dares the world to be outstanding, my people will be the standards to be used! JESUS CHRIST: They (Christians) are also forgetting the words in Ephesians 1:3. GOD: Please read it out! ANGEL: PRAISE BE TO THE GOD AND FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHO HAS BLESSED US IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES WITH EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING IN CHRIST . ANGEL: So what do we do now since the end is almost near? HOLY SPIRIT: My Presence is still among men and I will teach and remind the Christians of all that we have discussed. I will also make sure that they pass this message on! JESUS CHRIST: I will also keep on interceding for them & stand in for them even in their weaknesses. GOD: I will also make sure that I give to all those who ask of me, seek me and try to find me. The blessings I have promised them through My Son, Jesus Christ will be delivered to all those who discover that I, Jehovah, am ready to bless them! Not because of any special things they have done, but just because I LOVE THEM ! Jesus Christ: I will also give all My followers who are willing to pass this conversation on, enough strength to carry on! ANGELS: We are all backing THE TRINITY and even the devil cannot stop us! How funny ! Christians are finally taking over and ...... DEVIL (eavesdropping behind the gates): I hope you all heard! I will deploy more troops (demons) and make sure the Christians pray less, read their Bibles less, preach less and make sure this mail does not move anywhere! Also..... YOU SURE YOU HEARD THAT! THE DEVIL WILL MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT PASS THIS ON. BUT PROVE HIM WRONG AND SHOW HIM THE POWER YOU HAVE IN CHRIST JESUS AS A CHRISTIAN. PRAY MORE, STUDY THE WORD MORE AND PREACH THE WORD! ! DO NOT DISAPPOINT GOD ! PASS IT ON! Trust in The Lord With All Your Heart

Todd Strandberg is the founder of the wildly popular Rapture Ready Web site, which is currently showing over 6.7 million hits. What Do These Huge Numbers Mean? I am absolutely stunned at the magnitude and speed of the unfolding global economic crisis. Since September of last year, there has been a continuous flood of negative news. The Federal Reserve and Treasury Department have pumped more than $10 trillion into the financial system, yet our economy continues to implode. The losses incurred by the federal government are so staggering that nobody really knows what they imply for the future. Last week, the Obama administration reported a projected deficit for 2009 of $1.75 trillion. The deficit for 2008 was only $435 billion. In the next three years, the government will need to borrow $3.6 trillion. Many people are oblivious to our federal deficit because they don't understand the meaning of these trillion dollar numbers. Here are three examples that might help: If you spent $1 million a day every day since Jesus was born, you would still be only slightly more that three-quarters of the way to spending $1 trillion. A stack of one trillion $1 bills would reach nearly 68,000 miles into the sky; that's about a third of the way from the Earth to the moon. Earth's home galaxy, the Milky Way, is estimated to contain about 200 billion stars. So, if each star cost $1, $1 trillion would buy five Milky Way galaxies full of stars. The big question that needs to be asked is: "Does the world have the capacity or the will to keep purchasing our debt?" U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton recently visited China to urge that country to keep buying our bonds. China already has $1.95 trillion in foreign exchange reserves, which leaves us at Beijing 's mercy. If the Chinese weren't so worried about their export market, they could easily destroy our economy by selling some of their treasury notes. What has caused the federal deficit to soar is all the bail-out money being given to public companies. Unfortunately, these firms continue to bleed cash at a staggering rate. Insurance Giant AIG lost $60 billion in its fourth quarter. The three auto makers are losing $30 billion a quarter. Citibank has $300 billion in bad assets, and the government now owns 40 percent of this company. As bad as things are here in the U.S., Europe is actually facing a much bigger problem: west European banks have loaned eastern bloc nations vast amounts of money. They hold an astonishing $3.7 trillion portfolio of loans to emerging market countries. While we have banks that are said to be too big to fail, Europe has banks that are too big to save. Austrian banks have loaned $289 billion to eastern Europe. That amount is 70 percent of the Austrian GDP. In Poland, 60 percent of mortgages are in Swiss francs. The zloty has now dropped in half against the franc. It now costs some Poles twice as much for their mortgages. Another major problem is that much of eastern Europe's debt is short-term, and a third of it will need to be rolled over this year. Unlike in the U.S., Europe 's financial system has no EU Federal Reserve ready to act as a lender of last resort or to flood the markets with an emergency stimulus. Because it doesn't have a fire department, Europe can only handle economic forest fires by forming a bucket brigade of funds pledged by member states. Back here at home, one of the most alarming trends is how quickly people are turning to socialism to handle the crisis. About six months ago, lawmakers were hotly debating the merits of using federal money to support private business. Now CEOs regularly show up in Washington to collect their latest billion dollar hand-outs. When a plan to nationalize parts of the banking system was put forth, many conservative Republicans thought it was a good idea. The economic crisis has even changed people's views on moral issues. As a way to boost California 's empty coffers, a state lawmaker has introduced a bill that would legalize and tax marijuana. U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said states should be allowed to make their own rules on marijuana usage. The world is in desperate need of a financial savior, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Antichrist is the one who comes to the rescue. The timing is too perfect for this crisis to just be a coincidence. The Beast may already be on the scene working at some level. The G20 summit, slated for 1 April, needs to be watched closely for a big announcement on a "global new deal". Paul Henri Spaak, a former Belgian prime minister, once said: "We do not want another committee. We have too many already. What we want is a man of sufficient stature to hold the allegiance of all people and to lift us out of the economic morass in which we are sinking. Send us such a man and be he god or the devil we will receive him." He made these remarks over 50 year ago, but they seem to apply most fittingly to our time. I believe we are witnessing one of the last warning signs to the tribulation hour. Christians need to adopt a very sober attitude about where they are in God's will. Peter's words in 1 Peter 4:7 really ring true for our day: "But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers." Every morning, we need to ask the Lord, "What can I do today that will benefit Your Kingdom?" "And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light" (Romans 13:11-12 NIV). -- Todd This was on Jim B site

SOCIAL SECURITY Obama would increase Social Security funding by 10 percent—up $1.1 billion to $11.6 billion—to expedite approval of benefits, particularly for people with disabilities. Social Security officials wade through 4.2 million applications for benefits each year from retirees, survivors and Medicare patients and another 2.6 million disability claims. There is currently a more than two-year backlog for disability claims
LOT 'S WIFE The Sunday School teacher was describing how Lot 's wife looked back and turned into a pillar of salt, when little Jason interrupted, 'My Mommy looked back once while she was driving,' he announced triumphantly, 'and she turned into a telephone pole!' GOOD SAMARITAN A Sunday school teacher was telling her class the story of the Good Samaritan. She asked the class, 'If you saw a person lying on the roadside, all wounded and bleeding, what would you do?' A thoughtful little girl broke the hushed silence, 'I think I'd throw up.' DID NOAH FISH? A Sunday school teacher asked, 'Johnny, do you think Noah did a lot of fishing when he was on the Ark ?' 'No,' replied Johnny. 'How could he, with just two worms.' HIGHER POWER A Sunday school teacher said to her children, 'We have been Learning how powerful kings and queens were in Bible times. But, there is a Higher Power. Can anybody tell me what it is?' One child blurted out, 'Aces!' MOSES AND THE RED SEA Nine-year-old Joey was asked by his mother what he had learned in Sunday School. 'Well, Mom, our teacher told us how God sent Moses behind enemy lines on a rescue mission to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. When he got to the Red Sea, he had his army build a pontoon bridge and all the people walked across safely. Then he radioed headquarters for reinforcements. They sent bombers to blow up the bridge and all the Israelites were saved.' 'Now, Joey, is that really what your teacher taught you?' his Mother asked.. 'Well, no, Mom. But, if I told it the way the teacher did, you'd never believe it!' THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD A Sunday School teacher decided to have her young class memorize one of the most quoted passages in the Bible - Psalm 23. She gave the youngsters a month to learn the chapter. Little Rick was excited about the task - but he just couldn't remember the Psalm. After much practice, he could barely get past the first line. On the day that the kids were scheduled to recite Psalm 23 in front of the congregation, Ricky was so nervous. When it was his turn, he stepped up to the microphone and said proudly, 'The Lord is my Shepherd, and that's all I need to know.' UNANSWERED PRAYER The preacher's 5 year-old daughter noticed that her father always paused and bowed his head for a moment before starting his sermon. One day, she asked him why. 'Well, Honey,' he began, proud that his daughter was so observant of his messages. 'I'm asking the Lord to help me preach a good sermon.' 'So, how come He doesn't?' she asked. BEING THANKFUL A Rabbi said to a precocious six-year-old boy, 'So your mother says your prayers for you each night? That's very commendable. What does she say?' The little boy replied, 'Thank God he's in bed!' UNTIMELY ANSWERED PRAYER During the minister's prayer one Sunday, there was a loud whistle from one of the back pews. Tommy's mother was horrified. She pinched him into silence and, after church, asked, 'Tommy, whatever made you do such a thing?' Tommy answered soberly, 'I asked God to teach me to whistle, and He did!' TIME TO PRAY A pastor asked a little boy if he said his prayers every night. 'Yes, sir.' the boy replied. 'And, do you always say them in the morning, too?' the pastor asked. 'No sir,' the boy replied. 'I ain't scared in the daytime.' ALL MEN / ALL GIRLS When my daughter, Kelli, said her bedtime prayers, she would bless every family member, every friend, and every animal (current and past). For several weeks, after we had finished the nightly prayer, Kelli would say, 'All girls.' This soon became part of her nightly routine, to include this closing. My curiosity got the best of me and I asked her, 'Kelli, why do you always add the part about all girls?' Her response, 'Because everybody always finish their prayers by saying 'All Men'!' SAY A PRAYER Little Johnny and his family were having Sunday dinner at his Grandmother's house.. Everyone was seated around the table as the food was being served. When Little Johnny received his plate, he started eating right away. 'Johnny! Please wait until we say our prayer.' said his mother. 'I don't need to,' the boy replied. 'Of course, you do.' his mother insisted. 'We always say a prayer before eating at our house.' 'That's at our house.' Johnny explained. 'But this is Grandma's house and she knows how to cook!'
