Tomorrow this blog will be a year old. In the past year I've posted funnies, other writers blogs or warning. My thoughts, correction & removal of false information. I would love to hear from you! I also know I've placed things here that is questionable. I try and see people as God see's them. I know I'm human & have failed in somethings and for that; I'm sorry. I have tried to call sin - SIN and not say it's ok to sin. As it is not. I look to the Word for my answer. I love all of you!! God, has blessed this blog. I've tried to share love and the word of God with you. That is my main goal was to share the love of God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Ghost with you. I pray that I have done this. Near-term economic predictions Jim Bramlett Jul 31, 2009 Dear friends: Yesterday I received a telephone call from a businessman in another state who told me that financial people managing the retirement funds and investments in that state have told his business partner that they expect a stock market crash to about the DJIA 2,000 level in approximately a month or so. He also said that he has heard that U.S. embassies around the world have been advised to have a year's supply of cash on hand, but not US or British currency. They are apparently expecting some kind of economic collapse. Normally I would not pay much attention to such information, except this time I was reminded of recent, similar information from Harry Schultz, a veteran financial newsletter writer and expert analyst. I shared this in my e-mail of July 26. Among other things, he wrote in his June newsletter that some US embassies worldwide are being advised to purchase massive amounts of local currencies, enough to last them a year. Some embassies are being sent enormous amounts of US cash to purchase currencies from those governments... Inside the State Department there is a sense of sadness and foreboding that something's about to happen -- unknown as to a date, within 180 days, but could be 120-150 days. He also spoke of an impending FDR-style bank holiday. Then I was reminded of my July 27 e-mail stating that expert trends forecaster Gerald Celente predicts a collapse in 2009 and economic Armageddon by 2012. Because of many past false alarms, my tendency is to discount any such reports. I have been hearing them since the early 1970s. But I would be remiss if I did not pass along this latest information to you. One possibility is that the friend's telephone report first mentioned above is simply feeding off Schultz's or Celente's predictions. These things do get passed around, usually picking up speed, gaining a false credibility as they go. That is a possibility. My friend mentioned above says that his pastor had a vision similar to the above scenarios and is recommending people store and have a supply of essential provisions. I am not saying to do that, but you may want to consider it. Because of the fragility of the economy even in normal times, it is never a bad idea to have extra provisions. I believe the Mormons are smart in this regard. Pray for God's wisdom. I don't know yet what we are going to do. Bottom Line: The above reports may or may not be true. Pray for wisdom. Trust in the Lord and He will "supply all your needs according to His riches in glory," the Bible says. Jim I don't know how true this is. The Italian Tomato Garden An old Italian lived alone in New Jersey. He wanted to plant his annual tomato garden, but it was very difficult work, as the ground was hard. His only son, Vincent, who used to help him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament: Dear Vincent, I am feeling pretty sad, because it looks like I won't be able to plant my tomato garden this year. I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot.. I know if you were here my troubles would be over.. I know you would be happy to dig the plot for me, like in the old days. Love, Papa A few days later he received a letter from his son. Dear Pop, Don't dig up that garden. That's where the bodies are buried. Love, Vinnie At 4 a.m. the next morning, FBI agents and local police arrived and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologized to the old man and left. That same day the old man received another letter from his son. Dear Pop, Go ahead and plant the tomatoes now. That's the best I could do under the circumstances. Love you, Vinnie

Photo by Paul Morse for AARP Bulletin President Obama again took his appeal for health care reform directly to the American people Tuesday, this time at a telephone town hall meeting at AARP’s Washington headquarters where he answered questions from older men and women concerned about how proposed changes to the current health system would affect them. “Nobody’s trying to change what does work in the system,” Obama told the estimated 180,000 listeners. “We are trying to change what doesn’t work in the system.” In the face of growing public skepticism and congressional delay, the president used his 75-minute town hall to address the concerns of callers from across the country and to answer recurring questions—including the bizarre charge that every five years government bureaucrats would visit all older Americans to counsel them on ending their lives early. Will care be rationed? Is America heading toward socialized medicine and a system like Canada’s? Will Medicare benefits be cut? “Nobody is talking about cutting Medicare benefits. I just want to make that absolutely clear,” he said emphatically. Seated on a stool in front of the small studio audience, Obama appeared relaxed and confident, sometimes using kitchen table analogies to explain knotty health care proposals and to untangle some of the myths now widely circulating on the Internet. Introducing Obama, AARP CEO A. Barry Rand said: “There’s a lot of misinformation about health care reform—even on what AARP stands for, and what AARP supports. This town hall is part of our ongoing effort to debunk myths and provide accurate information.” He added: “I want to make it clear that AARP has not endorsed any particular bill or any of the bills being debated in Congress today. We continue to work with members of Congress on both sides of the aisle and with the administration to achieve what is right for health care reform.” AARP president Jennie Chin Hansen also cited confusion expressed in questions that have come from thousands of members who have participated in previous AARP town halls. “Like, will the government tell my doctor how to practice medicine?” Obama said he understands that overhauling the health care system is not easy. “I know there are folks who will oppose any kind of reform because they profit from the way the system is right now. They’ll run all sorts of ads that will make people scared.” But, he added, this has all happened before. “Back when President Kennedy and then President Johnson were trying to pass Medicare, opponents claimed it was socialized medicine,” he said. “When you look at the Medicare debate, it is almost exactly the same as the debate we’re having right now. Everybody who was in favor of the status quo was trying to scare the American people saying that government is going to take over your health care, you won’t be able to choose your own doctor, they’re going to ration care.” Obama added: “You know what? Medicare has been extraordinarily popular. It has worked. It has made people a lot healthier, given them security. And we can do the same this time.” Here’s how he answered tough questions on a range of topics at the town hall session: Will Medicare benefits be cut? “Nobody is talking about reducing Medicare benefits,” Obama said. “Medicare benefits are there because people contributed into a system. It works. We don’t want to change it.” However, he added, “we do want to eliminate some of the waste that is being paid for out of the Medicare trust fund that could be used more effectively to cover more people and strengthen the system.” For example, he said, “right now we’re paying about $177 billion over 10 years to insurance companies to subsidize them for participating in Medicare Advantage [private health plans, such as HMOs, offered as an alternative to the traditional Medicare program]. “Now, insurance companies are already really profitable. So what we said is, let’s at least have some sort of competitive bidding process where these insurance companies who are participating [in Medicare] are not being subsidized on the taxpayer dime,” he added. “That’s the kind of change we want to see.” End-of-life care One caller, Mary from North Carolina, said she’d heard rumors that all Medicare beneficiaries would be visited and “told to decide how they wish to die.” Obama seemed amused by the idea, pointing out that the government didn’t have enough employees to make millions of personal visits. “Nobody is going to be knocking on your door,” he promised. The president said the rumor could be linked to a measure in one of the proposed bills that would allow Medicare coverage, once every five years, for consultations between doctors and patients about hospice care, living wills and other discussions about people’s wishes on the kind of care they want at the end of their lives. “The intent here is to simply make sure that you’ve got more information, and that Medicare will pay for it,” he said. He referred to the recent death of his grandmother and the living will that gave her some control toward the end of her life. “The problem right now is that most of us don’t give direction to our family members, so when we get really badly sick … the [doctors] are making decisions in consultation with your kids or your grandkids and nobody knows what you would have preferred,” he said, emphasizing that the provision is only one of many proposals in one bill and that Congress could revisit it. Both he and his wife, Michelle, had already made living wills, Obama added. What will happen if nothing is done to reform the system? Ollie, from Texas, noted the “many negative advertisements and articles about the tremendous cost for health care reform.” He asked the president: “What would it cost if we do nothing?” Obama responded: “Health care costs are going up much faster than inflation,” more than twice the rate of wage increases every year, “and your premiums will probably double again over the next 10 years.” Plus: “We’re already seeing 14,000 people lose their health insurance every day. So the costs of doing nothing are trillions of dollars over the next couple of decades—trillions, not billions … without anybody getting any better care.” If health care inflation can be controlled, he added, “then not only can we stabilize the Medicare trust fund, not only can we help save families money on their premiums, but we can actually afford to provide coverage to the people who currently don’t have health care.” Noting that the United States spends $6,000 more per person on health care—50 percent more—than any other industrialized country, he observed: “That’s money out of your pocket. If you’re already retired, that money could have been going into your retirement fund instead of going to pay for your health care. If you’re working right now, some of that money could be going into your paycheck. … It’s money that’s being given away and we need to save it. That’s why health reform is so important.” Will I be able to get health care if I have a preexisting medical condition? Responding to a caller who said her 56-year-old brother was “uninsurable” because of his health, the president said that under reform proposals, “If you’ve got a preexisting condition, insurance companies will still have to insure you.” Referring to his mother, who died of cancer, he said: “She had to spend weeks fighting with insurance companies while she’s in the hospital bed, writing letters back and forth just to get coverage for insurance she’d already paid premiums on. And that happens all across the country. We’re going to put a stop to that.” Also, he said, “We’re going to reform the insurance system so that they can’t just drop you if you get too sick. They won’t be able to drop you if you change jobs or lose your job. … We want clear, easy-to-understand, straightforward insurance that people can purchase. “The idea behind reform is: Number one, we reform the insurance companies so they can’t take advantage of you. Number two, we provide you a place to go to purchase insurance that is secure, that isn’t full of fine print, that is actually going to deliver on what you pay for. Number three, we want to make sure that you’re getting a good bargain for your health care by reducing some of the unnecessary tests and costs that have raised rates.” Will I be able to keep the insurance I’ve got now? Answering a question from Margaret of Greeley, Colo., who said she wants to keep the good coverage she already has, Obama said, “Here’s a guarantee that I’ve made: If you have insurance that you like, then you’ll be able to keep that insurance. If you’ve got a doctor that you like, you’ll be able to keep your doctor. Nobody is going to say you’ve got to change your health care plan. “This is not like Canada where suddenly we are dismantling the system and everybody’s signed up under some government program. If you’ve already got health care, the only thing we’re going to do for you is, we’re going to reform the insurance companies so that they can’t cheat you. … If you don’t have health insurance, we’re going to make it a little bit easier for you to be able to obtain health care.” What if I haven’t got insurance or don’t like the coverage I have now? People without good coverage—those currently uninsured, underinsured or purchasing expensive individual insurance for themselves and their families without benefit of the group negotiating power that employer-sponsored plans wield—will be able to choose from a menu of private health plans (plus maybe one government-run plan) through a national health insurance exchange. The way this would work, Obama said, is that “anybody who wants insurance but can’t get it on their job right now can go to this exchange. They can select a plan that works for them or their families … but whatever you select, you will get high-quality care for a reasonable cost, the same way members of Congress are able to select from a menu of plans. And if the plan you select is still too expensive for your income then we would provide you a little bit of help so that you could actually afford the coverage.” In response to Jeanine of Fairmont, Neb.—who said that she and her husband, both self-employed, currently pay $900 a month for insurance with an $8,000 deductible—Obama said that the exchange would offer people in their situation not only more choices but the protection of being in a large bargaining pool. “The exchange will provide that same market power [as large employers have] to help negotiate with the insurers to drive prices down.” Will care be rationed? Carolyn, from Joliet, Ill., asked: “Even if I decide when I’m 80 that I want a hip replacement, am I going to be able to get that?” Obama responded: “My interest is not in getting between you and your doctor—although keep in mind that right now insurance companies are often getting between you and your doctor. [Decisions] are being made by private insurance companies without any guidance as to whether [they] are good decisions to make people healthier or not. “So we just want to provide some guidelines to Medicare, and by extension the private sector, about what [treatments] work and what doesn’t.” That guidance, under current health care reform proposals, would come from a new medical advisory committee that, Obama said, would recommend “what treatments work best and what gives you the best value for your health care dollar,” independent of political considerations. “We don’t want to ration by dictating to somebody [that] we don’t think this senior should get a hip replacement,” he said. “We do want to provide information to [you and your doctor about what] is going to be most helpful to you in dealing with your condition.” Later, to illustrate the point, Obama used a family budget analogy: “If you figure out a way to reduce your heating bill by insulating your windows … you’re still warm inside. [But] you’re not wasting all that energy and sending it in the form of higher bills to the electric or gas company. And that’s then money you can use to save for your retirement or help your kid go to college. Well, it’s the same principle within the health system.” Does reform mean socialized medicine? Addressing the widespread concern that reforms would move the country toward socialized medicine, Obama assured the audience that they would not. “A lot of people have heard this phrase ‘socialized medicine,’ ” he said. “And they say, ‘We don’t want government-run health care. We don’t want a Canadian-style plan.’ Nobody is talking about that. We’re saying, let’s give you a choice.” Smiling, he continued, “I got a letter from a woman the other day. She said, ‘I don’t want government-run health care. I don’t want socialized medicine. And don’t touch my Medicare.’ ” As the audience laughed, he added: “I wanted to say, ‘That’s what Medicare is. It’s a government-run health care plan that people are very happy with.’ ” Winding up his remarks, Obama said he didn’t expect to achieve a perfect health care system. “But we could be doing a lot better than we’re doing right now. … We shouldn’t have people who are working really hard every day without health care or with $8,000 deductibles—which means basically they don’t have health insurance unless they get in an accident or they get really sick. That just doesn’t make sense. So we’ve got to have the courage to be willing to change things.” After the phone-in town hall ended, Bonnie M. Cramer, AARP’s board chairman, said that she thought the president “really made it very clear that Medicare beneficiaries will not see cuts in Medicare services.” In speaking directly to older Americans, she said, “He put to rest a lot of their concerns.” Patricia Barry is a senior editor of the AARP Bulletin.

Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence through your grace. Where there is need, I ask you to fulfill their needs. I have mixed feeling about this. I give everybody a chance to send me things. My comment on this is why does man see the color of their skin. Why as humans we cannot see others as GOD sees us, He doesn't see white, black, red, yellow, light skin dark skin, brown skin, skinny, fat, ugly, beautiful, the disable, blind, deaf, man or women, gay or straight, any difference that is out there. Why do we need to have white pride, black pride, red price so on and so on? It's because of man's heart. There are few humans that really has the heart of God!! It also breaks my heart about this having what ever pride. Let us come together & not judge each other on those listed & on those not listed. Whites are not the only people who are racists. My granddaughter is mixed, I also have other relations that are mixed. SO. I don't see any different in any of them. I'm also saying about my other grandchildren. One of my best friend was gay. SO, When I was young I dated all kinds of guys white, black, asian, native american My parents were really racists. Out of six children I just couldn't be. when I was young I was taught the "N" word was for both black & white. As for flags the south flag was not orginally for slaves, it was because a the reble's did not like our Gov't. Does that sound like today. You do know there were white slaves all through History. Cleopatrica had slaves and she had white slaves, the egpytians had slaves both white & black. The Irish was nothing to slave owners, they hired them because they did not want there property to be hurt or damage. And a lot of times the slave owners would get out of paying a Irishman, So, every person past history had slaves one time or another. They took them in war time. Ok, I'm done. I love everybody & I try to see people as God see them. WHITE" Pride? This is great. I have been wondering about why Whites are racists, and no other race is..... Proud to be White Michael Richards makes his point............... Michael Richards better known as Kramer from TVs Seinfeld does make a good point. This was his defense speech in court after making racial comments in his comedy act. He makes some very interesting points... Someone finally said it. How many are actually paying attention to this? There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, etc. And then there are just Americans. You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction. You call me 'White boy,' 'Cracker,' 'Honkey,' 'Whitey,' 'Caveman'... and that's OK.. But when I call you, Nigger, Kike, Towel head, Sand-nigger, Camel Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or Chink .. You call me a racist. You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you... so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live? You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day. You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day. You have Yom Hashoah. You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi. You have the NAACP. You have BET.... If we had WET (White Entertainment Television), we'd be racists. If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists. If we had White History Month, we'd be racists. If we had any organization for only whites to 'advance' OUR lives, we'd be racists. We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce. Wonder who pays for that?? A white woman could not be in the Miss20Black American pageant, but any color can be in the Miss America pageant. If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships... You know we'd be racists. There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US ...... Yet if there were 'White colleges', that would be a racist college. In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists. You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're20not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists. You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist. I am proud... But you call me a racist. Why is it that only whites can be racists?? There is nothing improper about this e-mail.. Let's see which of you are proud enough to send it on. I sadly don't think many wi ll. That's why we have LOST most of OUR RIGHTS in this country. We won't stand up for ourselves! BE PROUD TO BE WHITE! It's not a crime YET.... but getting very close! AUL_Action Dear Londa, Earlier today, the Senate Judiciary Committee voted to send the nomination of Judge Sonia Sotomayor to be the next Justice on the US Supreme Court to the full Senate for a vote. That vote is expected to happen in the next few days. During the hearings on her nomination, I hoped that she would repudiate the radical views of the pro-abortion legal advocacy group on whose board she sat for 12 years - the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund (PRLDEF). During that time, the PRLDEF filed six amicus briefs before the Court arguing that any limitation on abortion should be Senate Testimonystruck down. Unfortunately, Judge Sotomayor did not offer any reassurance that she will be anything other than a strong promoter of abortion if confirmed to the Supreme Court. So, I provided testimony before the Committee and explained why it was necessary for us to oppose her confirmation to the Court. Now, I need you to join your voice with mine. Will you contact your Senators and ask them to vote against the confirmation of Judge Sotomayor to be the next Justice on the US Supreme Court?take action! Shell Oil Comments - A MUST READ! Safety Alert! Here's some reasons why we don't allow cell phones in operating areas, propylene oxide handling and storage area, propane, gas and diesel refueling areas. The Shell Oil Company recently issued a warning after three incidents in which mobile phones (cell phones) ignited fumes during fueling operations In the first case, the phone was placed on the car's trunk lid during fueling; it rang and the ensuing fire destroyed the car and the gasoline pump. In the second, an individual suffered severe burns to their face when fumes ignited as they answered a call while refueling their car! And in the third, an individual suffered burns to the thigh and groin as fumes ignited when the phone, which was in their pocket, rang while they were fueling their car. You should know that: Mobile Phones can ignite fuel or fumes Mobile phones that light up when switched on or when they ring release enough energy to provide a spark for ignition Mobile phones should not be used in filling stations, or when fueling lawn mowers, boat, Etc. Mobile phones should not be used, or should be turned off, around other materials that generate flammable or explosive fumes or dust, (I.e, solvents, chemicals, gases, grain dust, etc.) TO of sum it up, here are the: Four Rules for Safe Refueling 1) Turn off engine 2) Don't smoke 3) Don't use your cell phone - leave it inside the vehicle or turn it off 4) Don't re-enter your vehicle during fueling Bob Renkes of Petroleum Equipment Institute is working on a campaign to try and make people aware of fires as a result of 'static electricity' at gas pumps. His company has researched 150 cases of these fires. His results were very surprising: 1) Out of 150 cases, almost all of them were women. 2) Almost all cases involved the person getting back in their vehicle while the nozzle was still pumping gas. When finished, they went back to pull the nozzle out and the fire started, as a result of static. 3) Most had on rubber-soled shoes. 4) Most men never get back in their vehicle until completely finished. This is why they are seldom involved in these types of fires. 5) Don't ever use cell phones when pumping gas. 6) It are vapors that come out of the gas th at cause the fire, when connected with static charges. 7) There were 29 fires where the vehicle was re-entered and the nozzle was touched during refueling from a variety of makes and models. Some resulted in extensive damage to the vehicle, to the station, and to the customer. 8) Seventeen fires occurred before, during or immediately after the gas cap was removed and before fueling began. Mr. Renkes stresses to NEVER get back into your vehicle while filling it with gas. If you absolutely HAVE to get in your vehicle while the gas is pumping, make sure you get out, close the door TOUCHING THE METAL, before you ever pull the nozzle out. This way the static from your body will be discharged before you ever remove the nozzle. As I mentioned earlier, The Petroleum Equipment Institute, along with several other companies now, are really trying to make the public aware of this danger. AHRC Website Excerpt – Hebrew New Testament The New Testament, or B'riyt HaHhadashah in Hebrew, was written by Hebrews, for Hebrews and within an Hebraic Culture. While the only New Testament manuscripts known to exist are written in Greek, with the possible exception of the book of Matthew, the evidence suggests that much of it was originally written in Hebrew and afterwards translated into Greek. While there are many textual evidences to support this theory, Matthew 5:3 is a good example of this. Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. The Greek word for "poor" is ptochos and means one who is destitute, afflicted, and lacking. What this verse is literally saying is "Blessed are the ones destitute/afflicted/lacking in the spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." This does not make any sense. However, if we translate the Greek word ptochos into Hebrew we have the word aniy which also means destitute, afflicted and lacking. More literally the Hebrew word aniy means "bent down low" such as a poor person who is destitute. But, this Hebrew word can also mean one who is humble, in the same sense of bending down low. Now, if we translate the Hebrew back into English we have, "Blessed are the humble in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." By understanding this passage from its Hebrew background, we are able to better interpret the New Testament Bible. Definitions. For purposes of this order: (a) ‘‘Archivist’’ refers to the Archivist of the United States or his designee. (b) ‘‘NARA’’ refers to the National Archives and Records Administration. (c) ‘‘Presidential Records Act’’ refers to the Presidential Records Act, 44 U.S.C. 2201–2207. (d) ‘‘NARA regulations’’ refers to the NARA regulations implementing the Presidential Records Act, 36 C.F.R. Part 1270. (e) ‘‘Presidential records’’ refers to those documentary materials maintained by NARA pursuant to the Presidential Records Act, including Vice Presidential records. (f) ‘‘Former President’’ refers to the former President during whose term or terms of office particular Presidential records were created. (g) A ‘‘substantial question of executive privilege’’ exists if NARA’s disclosure of Presidential records might impair national security (including the conduct of foreign relations), law enforcement, or the deliberative processes of the executive branch. (h) A ‘‘final court order’’ is a court order from which no appeal may be taken. Sec. 2. Notice of Intent to Disclose Presidential Records. (a) When the Archivist provides notice to the incumbent and former Presidents of his intent to disclose Presidential records pursuant to section 1270.46 of the NARA regulations, the Archivist, using any guidelines provided by the incumbent and former Presidents, shall identify any specific materials, the disclosure of which he believes may raise a substantial question of executive privilege. However, nothing in this order is intended to affect the right of the incumbent or former Presidents to invoke executive privilege with respect to materials not identified by the Archivist. Copies of the notice for the incumbent President shall be delivered to the President (through the Counsel to the President) and the Attorney General (through the Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel). The copy of the notice for the former President shall be delivered to the former President or his designated representative. (b) Upon the passage of 30 days after receipt by the incumbent and former Presidents of a notice of intent to disclose Presidential records, the Archivist may disclose the records covered by the notice, unless during that time period the Archivist has received a claim of executive privilege by the incumbent or former President or the Archivist has been instructed by the incumbent President or his designee to extend the time period for a time certain and with reason for the extension of time provided in the notice. Sec. 3. Claim of Executive Privilege by Incumbent President. (a) Upon receipt of a notice of intent to disclose Presidential records, the Attorney General (directly or through the Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel) and the Counsel to the President shall review as they deem appropriate the records covered by the notice and consult with each other, the Archivist, and such other executive agencies as they deem appropriate concerning whether invocation of executive privilege is justified. (b) The Attorney General and the Counsel to the President, in the exercise of their discretion and after appropriate review and consultation under subsection (a) of this section, may jointly determine that invocation of executive privilege is not justified. The Archivist shall be notified promptly of any such determination. (c) If either the Attorney General or the Counsel to the President believes that the circumstances justify invocation of executive privilege, the issue shall be presented to the President by the Counsel to the President and the Attorney General. (d) If the President decides to invoke executive privilege, the Counsel to the President shall notify the former President, the Archivist, and the Attorney General in writing of the claim of privilege and the specific Presidential records to which it relates. After receiving such notice, the Archivist shall not disclose the privileged records unless directed to do so by an incumbent President or by a final court order. Sec. 4. Claim of Executive Privilege by Former President. (a) Upon receipt of a claim of executive privilege by a living former President, the Archivist shall consult with the Attorney General (through the Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel), the Counsel to the President, and such other executive agencies as the Archivist deems appropriate concerning the Archivist’s determination as to whether to honor the former President’s claim of privilege or instead to disclose the Presidential records notwithstanding the claim of privilege. Any determination under section 3 of this order that executive privilege shall not be invoked by the incumbent President shall not prejudice the Archivist’s determination with respect to the former President’s claim of privilege. (b) In making the determination referred to in subsection (a) of this section, the Archivist shall abide by any instructions given him by the incumbent President or his designee unless otherwise directed by a final court order. The Archivist shall notify the incumbent and former Presidents of his determination at least 30 days prior to disclosure of the Presidential records, unless a shorter time period is required in the circumstances set forth in section 1270.44 of the NARA regulations. Copies of the notice for the incumbent President shall be delivered to the President (through the Counsel to the President) and the Attorney General (through the Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel). The copy of the notice for the former President shall be delivered to the former President or his designated representative. Sec. 5. General Provisions. (a) Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect: (i) authority granted by law to a department or agency, or the head thereof; or (ii) functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to budget, administrative, or legislative proposals. (b) This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations. (c) This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person. President Obama is pressing for passage of the proposed plan before the August congressional recess. My daughter has MS and struggles to get adequate care here in the USA under the current plan. She belongs to an MS web group and personally hears about the non-existent and/or extreme time delayed care for those website members who live in Canada . I am a 71 year old senior who does not believe we should be forced to be more “accepting of conditions of aging”; we should receive every treatment available to science to provide extension of life with quality. How I thank God for those who developed the heart valve replacement procedure that my husband received several years ago. Without the repairs, he would have survived less than a year. Since the surgery he has led an active and normal life for which we thank God, and every health care professional who provided his successful treatment. Under the proposed plan people our age would not be valued enough to receive this life saving help, or any other. It sounds like the new plan treatment (if you even got to see a doctor) would be one called “shut up and die - - and, oh yeah, “here have some more pain medicine.” I told my husband they probably would like us to take the entire prescription at once and get off Social Security faster. These comments do not even begin to cover the medical care provisions that my extended family and friends have been privileged to receive; each one of you could add story after story to this. WE DON’T WANT THIS KIND OF ‘HEALTH CARE’ PLAN THAT CONGRESS IS PROPOSING! Tom Daschle and every member of congress should be forced to give up their plush government provided services they currently enjoy and have to live under the same care they would impose upon you and me. If Canada had our healthcare she might be alive today. In the United States , we have medical evacuation helicopters that would have gotten her to the hospital in 30 minutes. In England anyone over 59 cannot receive heart repairs or stents or bypass because it is not covered as it is either too expensive or not needed. Obama wants to have a healthcare system just like Canada 's and England 's. I got this today and am sending it on. If Obama's plans in other areas don't scare you ... this should. Please do not let Obama sign Senior Death Warrants. Everybody that is on this mailing list is either a senior citizen, is getting close or knows somebody that is. Most of you know by now that the Senate version (at least) of the "stimulus" Bill includes provisions for extensive rationing of health care for senior citizens. The author of this part of the bill, former Senator and tax evader, Tom Daschle was credited by Bloomberg with the following statement. Bloomberg: Daschle says "health-care reform will not be pain free. Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them." If this does not sufficiently raise your ire, just remember that our esteemed Senators and Congressmen have their own healthcare plan that is first dollar or very low co-pay which they are guaranteed the remainder of their lives and are not subject to this new law if it passes. Please use the power of the Internet to get this message out. Talk it up at the Grassroots level. We have an election coming up in 2010. Love of God

What Man Kind needs the Most! Mankind needs the Love of God! Mankind hearts are dying for the Lack of God's Love, It's in their soul that they need the Love of God. They have to receive His Love. They have to see and hear the Love of God and then their Soul will open up to it. What is man seeking? What is their soul crying out for? You can see that mankind is seeking something by their emptyness. People try to find what they need through drugs, food, drink, sex, business, even their actions. Mankind is separated from God. Romans 15:30 Now I beg you, breathen, through the Lord Jesus Christ and through the Love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in your prayers to God for me. Colossians 3:14-16 (14)But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. (15)And let the peace of God rule in your Hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful. (16)Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with Grace in your Hearts. Hebrews 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Christians need the Love of God also. Sometimes as Christian we feel far away from God's Love. It may not be your mountain of sin that is between you and God. Maybe your nature is closed and unresponsive to God's Love. When the real Love of God is breathed into your soul, there is a transformation, that takes place. Praise God! As Christians we need to show people the Love of God; when we talk to our families, how we react to others in traffic, with our co-works, our bosses. Even showing yourself the Love of God. Probably there is no more delightful then to watch a soul praying to God, when the light of God comes on; and the life of God fills the nature and that holy affection that were seeking from others, we find the expression in Him. This is what God is asking from you, if you want to really gratify the heart of Jesus Christ, that is the only way in all the earth to do it. The invitation is "My child give Me your heart". This is an affectionate relationship, of a real union in God. Just think of the fineness of God's purpose. God expects that same spiritual union that is brought to pass between your soul and His. This should be extended in the union of every soul around you. What that means being baptized in one spirit, submerged, buried, and enveloping the one Spirit of God. Is there anything that could not be accomplished through that Love of God!? NO! 1 Corinthians 13:4-8A (4)Love suffers long and is kind; Love doesn't envy; Love doesn't parade itself, is not puffed up, (5)doesn't behave rudely, doesn't seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; (6)doesn't rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; (7)bears all things, believes all things, hopes all thing, endure all things. (8A)Love never fails. Cut lose the love of God as we hold our loved ones tight when we pray for them, So they don't miss the blessing. Let your soul relaxs and let the Spirit of God move in you. There isn't a substitute for the Love of God. Christ in you! You have the capacity to love and feel the tenderness that is in the Son of God, Jesus Christ. And be in the Love of God all the time. Getting Real with God Real what is the meaning; Webster says - it's true/not imitation. At times we don't even get real with ourselves alone God. But, we should because He already knows us. He knows the time, minute you were born. He was there. He was there when you first crawled, and then stumble with your first steps. He was there when you started school, when you finished. He really know you. Like my sister would say cowboy up to it. Yes, make those few steps back and really look at what God has for you, what God knows about you. Your pride, your love for you family, your soft spot, God knows how many hairs that is on your head and how many more you need to lose, that will make you balled. God make you!! He wanted you to grow. He wanted you to learn. To look for Him, that He could help His children. Didn't he send His only begotten Son? But, He loved you enough that He gave you a chose. Most parents push, & I do mean push there children into everything even if the child doesn't want it. God is not that selfish. He loves you. So, does the parents but, not like God does. God is always there. Not but a cry out away. God has put every answer in His Word. He promises us rest Matthew 11:28-30 28) Come unto me all ye that labour, & are heavy laden, & I will give you rest. 29) Take my yoke upon you, & learn of me, for I am meek & lowly in heart; & ye shall find rest upon your souls. 30) For my yoke is easy, & my burden is light Right here in Matthew 11:28-30 said that who labours & heavy laden He gives us rest. This is both a phyical & spiritual rest. A rest most will not know because they don't get real with God.

He has a good point and we as a nation should be ashamed. If we remember one person we must remember others sacrifice and what of the sacrifice of their families and friends. I feel bad for the jackson family, but people die everyday and some go unnoticed by anyone. I was just watching the news, and I caught part of a report on Michael Jackson. As we all know, Jackson died the other day. He was an Entertainer who performed for decades. He made millions, he spent Millions, and he did a lot of things that make him a villain to many People. I understand that his death would affect a lot of people, and I respect those people who mourn his death, but that isn't the point Of my rant. Why is it that when ONE man dies, the whole of America loses their Minds with grief. When a man dies whose only contribution to the Country was to ENTERTAIN people, the American people find the need to Flock to a memorial in Hollywood, and even Congress sees the need to Hold a "moment of silence" for his passing? Am I missing something here? ONE man dies, and all of a sudden he's a Freaking martyr because he entertained us for a few decades ? What About all those SOLDIERS who have died to give us freedom? All those Soldiers who, knowing that they would be asked to fight in a war, Still raised their hands and swore to defend the Constitution and the United States of America. Where is their moment of silence? Where Are the people flocking to their graves or memorials and mourning over Them because they made the ultimate sacrifice? Why is it when a Soldier dies, there are more people saying "good riddance," and "thank God for IEDs?" When did this country become so calloused to the Sacrifice of GOOD MEN and WOMEN, that they can arbitrarily blow off Their deaths, and instead, throw themselves into mourning for a "Pop Icon?" I think that if they are going to hold a moment of silence IN CONGRESS For Michael Jackson, they need to hold a moment of silence for every Service member killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. They need to PUBLICLY Recognize every life that has been lost so that the American people Can live their callous little lives in the luxury and freedom that WE, Those that are living and those that have gone on, have provided for Them. But, wait, that would take too much time, because there have Been so many willing to make that sacrifice. After all, we will never Make millions of dollars. We will never star in movies, or write hit Songs that the world will listen to. We only shed our blood, sweat And tears so that people can enjoy what they have. Money was worth nothing. In Germany people lost homes and jobs, just like in the American Depression in the 1930s, which we have read about in Thoene's Shiloh books. In those days, in my homeland, Adolph Hitler was elected to power by promising "CHANGE." He blamed the "Zionists" around the world for all our problems. He told everyone it was greedy Zionist Bankers who had caused every problem we had. He promised that when he will be leader, the greedy Zionist bankers would be punished. The Zionists, he promised, would be wiped off the face of the earth. So Hitler was elected to power. A coalition of political parties in parliament made him supreme leader. Then, when he was leader, he disgraced and expelled everyone in parliament who did not go along with him. Yes. CHANGE came to my homeland as the new leader promised it would. The teachers in German schools began to teach the children to sing songs in praise of Hitler. This was the beginning of the Hitler Youth movement. It began with praise of the Fuhrer's programs on the lips of innocent children. Little girls and boys joined hands and sang these songs as they walked home from school. My brother came home and told Papa what was happening at school. The political hymns of children proclaimed CHANGE was coming to our homeland and the Fuhrer was a leader we could trust. I will never forget my father's face. Grief and fear. He knew that the best propaganda of the Nazis was on the lips of little children. That evening before he said grace at the dinner table, he placed his hands upon the heads of my brothers and me and prayed the Living Word upon us from Jeremiah 1:4-5. 'Now the Word of the Lord came to me, saying, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to The nations." Soon the children's songs praising the Fuhrer were heard everywhere on the streets and over the radio. "With our Fuhrer to lead us, WE CAN DO IT! We can CHANGE the world!" Soon after that Papa, a pastor, was turned away from visiting elderly parishioners in hospitals. The people he had come to comfort with God's Word were no longer there. Where had they vanished to while under nationalized health care? It became an open secret. The elderly and sick began to disappear from hospitals feet first as "mercy killing" became the policy. Children with disabilities and those who had Down syndrome were euthanized. People whispered, "Maybe it is better for them now. Put them out of misery. They are no longer suffering.And, of course, their death is better for the treasury of our nation. Our taxes no longer must be spent to care for such a burden." And so murder was called mercy. The government took over private business. Industry and health care were "nationalized." (NA-ZI means National Socialist Party) The businesses of all Jews were seized. Surely you remember our story in Berlin on Krystalnacht. The world and God's word were turned upside down. Hitler promised the people economic CHANGE. It was, rather, Lucifer's very ancient delusion leading to destruction. What began with the propaganda of children singing a catchy tune ended in the deaths of millions of children. The reality of what came upon us is so horrible that you in this present generation cannot imagine it. Our suffering is too great to ever tell in a book or show in a newsreel. When I spoke to my friend about some of these things, she wept and said she could not bear to write them. Perhaps one day she will, but I asked her, "who could bear to read our suffering?" Yet with my last breaths I warn every Christian and Jew now in the name of the Lord, unless your course of the church in America is spiritually changed now, returning to the Lord, there are new horrors yet to come. I trembled when I heard the voices of American children raised in song, praising the name of Obama, the charismatic fellow who claims he is the American Messiah. Yet I have heard what this man Obama says about abortion and the "mercy killing" of tiny babies who are not wanted. There are so few of us left to warn you. I have heard that there are 69 million Catholics in America and 70 million Evangelical Christians. Where are your voices? Where is your outrage? Where is passion and your vote? Do you vote based on an abortionist's empty promises and economics? Or do you vote according to the Bible? Thus says the Lord about every living child still in the womb. "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you." I have experienced the signs of the politics of Death in my youth. I see them again now. Christians! Unless you stand up now, you will lose your freedom of religion. In America priests and preachers have already lost their freedom to speak openly from their pulpits. We see danger in politicians. They cannot legally instruct you of which politician holds fast to the precepts of scripture. American law forbids this freedom of speech to conservative pastors. They may lose their tax exempt status. And yet I have heard the words of Obama's pastor damning America! I have heard the words of Obama damning and mocking all of you in small towns because you "Cling to your religion." But I am a woman whose name is unknown. My life is recorded as a work of fiction. I have no fear of reprisal when I speak truth to you from the pages of a book. I am an old woman and will soon go to be with my Lord. I have no fear for myself, but for all of you and for your children, I tremble. I tremble at the hymns to a political leaders which your children will sing at school. (Though even now a hymn or a prayer to God and our Lord Jesus is against the law in public school!) I pray that you will personally heed this warning for the sake of your children and your grandchildren. Do not be deceived. The Lord bless you as you bless Israel by standing in defense of her right to exist on the land given to the Jewish people by the God of Israel. Lets pray that Israel will turn back to their God. Do not be silent, but share this with your fellow Christians, share it with your pastors, and with anyone you have a chance to speak to. Lets also pray for that breakthrough to the Muslims, and please remember to pray for all of the soldiers in the IDF - they are defending and fighting for the Kingdom of God.
