Speaking to the Mountain

How many times have we really spoken to our mountain? For our words are life and death look at: Proverbs 18:20-21 20) A mans belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. 21) Death and life are in the power of the tongue; and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. and John 6:63 It is the Spirit that quickeneth, the flesh profiteth nothing; the words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life, So, if we speak the Word to our Mountain; it should become as the Bible says LIFE and to bring that mountain down. Speak it out and speak it with faith, Be BOLD and speak to that mountain!!! You speak enough of the mountain that you have. So start speaking to the mountain. You have the word to use against your mountain! So, search the Word and find your promise of it and use it. Mark 11:23-24 23) For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith, shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24) There fore I say unto you, What things so ever you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them. When you pray, pray in an audible voice. So, your soul/body will hear it also. When you speak about your victory, speak faith and do not doubt. Pray until you get a release. Now Jesus prayed twice for the blind man in Mark 8:22-25 22) And he commeth to Bethsaida, and they bring a blind man unto Him, and besought Him to touch him; 23) And He took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town, and when He had spit on his eyes, & put His hands upon him, He asked him, if he say ought. 24) And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. 25) After that He put His again upon his eyes, and made him look up; and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. Jesus prayed for the blind twice, the first time the sight was partly restored, it wasn't because Jesus didn't have enough faith. He wanted the blind man totally healed. So, Jesus prayed until it was and the blind man was able to see clearly! So, pray until you feel a release. How long shall we pray until we have peace and inner assurance that God is moving on your behalf. Not until it happens but, until you feel an inner assurance about it, then give Thanks for it. Remember once you feel the release then change your prayers over to Thanksgiving. Stop asking start praising for the answer. That is where the faith comes in. You may not see it still for a while; Abraham didn't see his son right off. In Daniel 10; you see that Daniel was hindered for twenty-one days, three weeks. Daniel received nothing about discern able answer to his prayer, but Daniel continued to hold on and kept his petition before God, until he got his answer. Now you may experience the same thing until you begin to pursue God's promises and you get your personal inner assurance. A) WRITE DOWN YOUR ASSURANCEB) SPEAK YOUR ANSWERC) PRAY UNTIL YOU HAVE A RELEASED) THANK GOD FOR THE ANSWER Philippians 4:6-7 6) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be made know unto God. 7) And the peace of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts & minds through Christ Jesus. DON'T JUST SAY WORDS, FIND SCRIPTURE TO STAND ON - PROMISES OF GOD PRAY IT OUT LOUD, IN A AUDIBLE VOICE PRAY UNTIL YOU HAVE A RELEASE SPEAK YOUR ANSWER DON'T RESIST THE HOLY SPIRIT PRAYING THROUGH YOU. GIVE THANKS TO GOD FOR YOUR ANSWER, AND DON'T WAVER, OR BE DISCOURAGED! AMEN & AMEN In Christ Jesus Rev. Londa Picard

Blood Covenant 2

Even in the Holy of Holies, the most high place of God; you cannot enter without blood. As Andrew Murray says "the way to fellowship with God is through the blood alone. What did Jesus Christ teach about the Blood? John the Baptist spoke of a dual purpose of the coming Messiah. John 1:29,33 29) The next day, John seen Jesus coming unto him, & saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh (beareth) away the sin of the world. 33) And I knew him not; but he that sent me to baptise with water, the same said unto me, upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, & remaining on him, the same is he which baptized with the Holy Ghost As you see the out pouring of the blood (lamb of God) had to come first before the baptism of the Holy Ghost. John 3:35, 48, 51 35) And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life; he that cometh to me, shall never hunger; & he that believeth on me, shall never thirst. 48) I am that bread of Life. 51) I am the living bread, which came down from heaven. If any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever & the bread, that I will give, is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. One fact we should know that eternal life can be ours ONLY through the SHEDDING OF BLOOD. The perfect unblashem lamb of God. Jesus Christ. Never forget this fact. Jesus last night on this earth was given the Last Supper, He broke bread with the twelve. Look at John 3:35, Jesus is the living bread. Matthew 20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministred unto, but to minister, & to give his life a ransom for many. Matthew 26:27-28 27) And He took the cup, & gave thanks, & gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it: 28) For this is my blood of the new Testament (covenant), which is shed for many for the remission of sin. We should look at what a blood covenant is. I'm getting this on line about the blood covenant: "Covenant in Hebrew is beriyth (ber-eeth') in the sense of cutting; a compact (because made by passing between pieces of flesh); - confederacy, (con-)feder(-ate), covenant, league. The covenant is an agreement sealed by blood. It is based on trust, unlimited responsibility, & cannot be broken. It is a binding together of two separate individuals into one. In each covenant there is a vow made, an interweaving of identity, a sign or mark & the shedding of blood. It's a promise between the agreeing parties that is irrevocable."

It depends whose Hands it's in

Hands!! A basketball in my hands is worth about $19. A basketball in Michael Jordan's hands is worth about $33 million. It depends whose hands it's in. A baseball in my hands is worth about $6. A baseball in Roger Clemens' hands is worth $475 million. It depends on whose hands it's in. A tennis racket is useless in my hands. A tennis racket in Andre Agassi's hands is worth millions. It depends whose hands it's in. A rod in my hands will keep away an angry dog. A rod in Moses' hands will part the mighty sea. It depends whose hands it's in. A slingshot in my hands is a kid's toy. A slingshot in David's hand is a mighty weapon. It depends whose hands it's in. Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in my hands is a couple of fish sandwiches. Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in Jesus' hands will feed thousands. It depends whose hands it's in. Nails in my hands might produce a birdhouse. Nails in Jesus Christ's hands will Produce salvation for the entire world. It depends whose hands it's in. As you see now, it depends whose hands it's in. So put your concerns, your worries, your fears, your hopes, your dreams, your families and your relationships in God's hands because... It depends whose hands it's in. I don't know who the author is on this. My brother Larry sent it to me. Thank you Rev. Londa Picard

Our Childhood in Black & White

Our Childhood in Black and White. I think you'll enjoy it. Whomever wrote this, described childhood to a T. Hope you enjoy it. Black and White (Under ag e 40? You won't understand.) You could hardly see for all the snow, Spread the rabbit ears as far as they go. Pull a chair up to the TV set, 'Good Night, David. Good Night, Chet.' My Mom used to cut chicken, chop eggs and spread mayo on the same cutting board with the same knife and no bleach, but we didn't seem to get food poisoning. My Mom used to defrost hamburger on the counter AND I used to eat it raw sometimes, too. Our school sandwiches were wrapped in wax paper in a brown paper bag, not in ice-pack coolers, but I can't remember getting e-coli. Almost all of us would have rather gone swimming in the lake instead of a pristine pool (talk about boring), no beach closures then. The term cell phone would have conjured up a phone in a jail cell, and a pager was the school PA system. We all took gym, not PE .. and risked permanent injury with a pair of high top Ked's (only worn in gym) instead of having cross-training athletic shoes with air cushion soles and built in light reflectors. I can't recall any injuries but they must have happened because they tell us how much safer we are now. Flunking gym was not an option even for stupid kids! I guess PE must be much harder than gym. Speaking of school, we all said prayers and sang the national anthem, and staying in detention after school caught all sorts of negative attention. We must have had horribly damaged psyches. What an archaic health system we had then. Remember school nurses? Ours wore a hat and everything. I thought that I was supposed to accomplish something before I was allowed to be proud of myself. I just can't recall how bored we were without computers, Play Station, Nintendo, X-box or 270 digital TV cable stations. Oh yeah .. and where was the Benadryl and sterilization kit when I got that bee sting? I could have been killed! We played 'king of the hill' on piles of gravel left on vacant construction sites, and when we got hurt, Mom pulled out the 48-cent bottle of Mercurochrome (kids liked it better because it didn't sting like iodine did) and then we got our butt spanked. Now it's a trip to the emergency room, followed by a 10-day dose of a $49 bottle of antibiotics, and then Mom calls the attorney to sue the contractor for leaving a horribly vicious pile of gravel where it was such a threat. We didn't act up at the neighbor's house either because if we did, we got our butt spanked there and then we got our butt spanked again when we got home. I recall Donny Reynolds from next door coming over and doing his tricks on the front stoop, just before he fell off. Little did his Mom know that she could have owned our house. Instead, she picked him up and swatted him for being such a goof. It was a neighborhood run amuck. To top it off, not a single person I knew had ever been told that they were from a dysfunctional family. How could we possibly have known that?We needed to get into group therapy and anger management classes? We were obviously so duped by so many societal ills that we didn't even notice that the entire country wasn't taking Prozac! How did we ever survive? LOVE TO ALL OF US WHO SHARED THIS ERA, AND TO ALL WHO DIDN'T; SORRY FOR WHAT YOU MISSED. I WOULDN'T TRADE IT FOR ANYTHING. I don't know who wrote this and so far nobody else does either. It's true.

Blood Covenant 1

The blood covenant was first done by Abel. Abel did this by faith of his first acceptable sacrifice, the first worship, the first blood that was shed. A burnt offering. Genesis 4:4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstings of his flock, & of the fat thereof; & the Lord had respect unto Abel, & his offering; Hebrew 11:4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice then Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; & by it he being dead, yet speaketh. This shows that without the sacrifice blood there isn't a way to God. No fellowship, no power, no joy of worshiping the Lord, nothing but, of the sacrificed blood. Then you see Noah after the flood. The first thing Noah does is to give a sacrifice of blood. A burnt offering. Then you have Abraham; the test of Abraham giving up his most precious belonging as a sacrifice. His son, Isaac. Abraham knew that he had to have sacrifice & shedding of blood. God had a covenant with Abraham, that Abraham would be the father of a Nation - Israel. So Abraham took Isaac to sacrifice him to God. God saw that Abraham would give up his precious son. So, God provided a blood sacrifice of a lamb. Then you have Moses and you see the Israelites having blood on their door frame. That saved the Israel first Born's from being killed. That when the angle of death went through Egypt the angle would pass over the blood & not touch that house hold. Exodus 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the house where you are; & when I see the blood, I will pass over you, & the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. There had to be blood & again a substitute was used instead of the their own blood being she-dded. Hebrew 9:7 But into the second went the high Priest alone once every year, not with-out blood, which he offered for himself & for the errors of the people. As it said NOT WITH-OUT BLOOD. A blood covenant was made once Moses and the Israelites reached Sinai, Exodus 24:8 And Moses took the blood & sprinkled it on the people, & said, Behold the blood of the Covenant which the Lord hath made with you, concerning all these words. So, with the shedding of the Blood here the covenant has power & foundation. And by the shedding of blood; God & man can have a fellowship with each other as the blood has removes the sins of man. A blood Covenant is still done today. What is yours is mine and what is mine is yours. So, what is God is mine & what's mine is God's. God wanted to dwell among Moses & Israel. So He had them to build a sanctuary that he may dwell among them. Exodus 25:8 And let them make me a Sanctuary, that I may dwell among them. Can you imagine God living among you? That you can find Him & serve Him in His house. You knew God was there!! You can have that today also, by believing in God's word. Jesus was our covering of the Blood Covenant. by Rev. Londa Picard

Prophecy

Dear Brother & Sister in Christ, For the last few weeks the Lord has been compelling me to sit down and write about some of the things that He has revealed to me over the last few years. To be honest I have been hesitant to share them because of their content, but as the days have gone by and I see the signs of the final hour all around, I know that it is time for me to do what He is leading me to do. I have shared some of what I will write here with a few of you… some of it you have heard before from others and I know that it will be confirmation to a lot of you. But, it burns within me and I must speak it… I will be as brief and to the point as possible. Late into the night, about six and a half years ago, the Lord woke me several times speaking, “It is the eleventh hour”. I wrestled with this all night long not knowing for sure what He meant. You see I had never heard the expression ‘eleventh hour’ before that night. The next day when I shared it with my pastor he opened up his Bible to Matthew, chapter 25, verse 6, and read, “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the Bridegroom is coming; go out to meet Him!’ It was suddenly very clear to me what the Lord had meant… It was a very sobering moment for me. Two years later, I was sitting and reading in the Old Testament how God allowed Israel to be taken captive by Babylon, something that I have read many times before. Suddenly, through the Holy Spirit and before my eyes, America became Israel and it was revealed to me that America would soon come under the captivity of Babylon just as Israel had. It was so strong, so powerful, that I immediately began to weep and felt very sick to my stomach. I felt as if I had been hit by a train… and was bent over in unbelievable anguish. I went to Jim to try and tell him what I had seen and was weeping so hard that I could barely speak. Today, as I watch the events in the world around me, I remember what was revealed to me and pray and ask the Lord if there is any way that things can be turned around… if this great nation can be saved…. Spared… is there a way? One morning, about three years ago, as I was in prayer I had a vision and it was as real as anything that I have ever seen. As it began I started to shake my head trying to make it stop until I realized what it was. My fear subsided and I allowed the Holy Spirit to have His way. I began to see great battleships and the sky full of different jets and planes…. Hundreds of them…. There were army tanks of all kinds… many, many implements of war were everywhere. Than I stood in a place that was barren, a virtual wasteland… as far as my eye could see there was nothing, total desolation. It looked like a great desert…. There was what appeared to be a piece of a building jutting up out of the sand, here and there. The sky was black with thick heavy smoke… there was no sunlight at all. As I stood there I saw a great trench where soldiers were hiding. I remember that they were very frightened and one of them, with his rifle in his hand, rose up out of the trench as if to run. And as he did I could hear the screams of the men…. As I looked up to see what they were so frightened of I saw a great bird-of-prey swooping down from the sky… The last thing I remember seeing were a pair of eyes, ancient eyes, watching it all from the heavens…. But I believe that what I saw was Armageddon. I do not know why the Lord revealed it to me… but it was real. I have held this in my heart up until now. Then, about two years ago, the Lord woke me early in the morning and told me that someone was going to come and visit me that day. I was so excited and got up early and got to work cleaning and straightening my home. I worked quickly wanting to make sure that everything was ready for my company. A little after noon I sat down and waited still excited believing that someone was coming for a visit. But, after a while I began to wonder what was going on. No one had come. Was I wrong, did I misunderstand the Lord? I was so sure that I had heard Him correctly. Suddenly, the room began to fill with His sweet presence… I was quickly overwhelmed and felt such joy at knowing that He was right there with me! It was He that had come to visit me!! He, my Lord, my King, was the visitor!! I sat there in His beautiful presence with tears flowing down my face and it was then that He opened my eyes and I caught a glimpse of the Throne Room. It was glorious!! I saw that there was preparation being made. There was a great deal of hustle and bustle, as if things were being done at a very fast pace. I only saw it for just a brief moment and then it was gone. I sat there for a bit, silently going over what I had seen. Then I asked the Lord if what I had seen was preparation for his return. He answered and said, “No, that what I had seen was preparation for our (His Church’s) Homecoming…” Needless to say, I rejoiced!!!!! We are truly in the ‘Eleventh Hour’ the signs are all around us, and it is time to make sure that we are where we are supposed to be, in Him. We are not to fear, for He has promised that no matter what is happening, whatever comes to be, if we are where we are suppose to be in Him that He will care for us and our needs will be met. I only ask one thing, that you read this prayerfully and with openness to the Holy Spirit. These things were revealed to me for a purpose and not for me to keep forever closed up in my heart. I have felt compelled of the Lord for many days to not be afraid and to open up and share it… and, so I have. It is an exciting time to be a Child of God… each day we are seeing the prophecy of the Bible being fulfilled. Though there may be days of great trial, and things may get tough, we can rest assured that it is Jesus our Lord and Savior that is in control and through it all that He is on the Throne. In His love, Connie

Billy Graham's Prayer For Our Nation

Billy Graham's Prayer For Our Nation THIS MAN SURE HAS A GOOD VIEW OF WHAT'S HAPPENING TO OUR COUNTRY! 'Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable. We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem. We have abused power and called it politics. We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition. We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression. We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment. Search us, Oh God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and Set us free. Amen!' Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on his radio program, 'The Rest of the Story,' and received a larger response to this program than any other he has ever aired. With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and wholeheartedly become our desire so that we again can be called 'One nation under God.' Think about this: If you forward this prayer to everyone on your e-mail list, in less than 30 days it would be heard by the world. (It's worth a try!) One Nation Under God.

What God Hath Promised

What God Hath Promised Annie Johnson Flint God hath not promised Skies always blue, Flower-strewn pathways All our lives through; God hath not promised Sun without rain, Joy without sorrow, Peace without pain. But God hath promised Strength for the day, Rest for the labour, Light for the way, Grace for the trials, Help from above, Unfailing sympathy, Undying love.

The Touch of the Master's Hand by Myra Brooks Welch

The Touch Of The Master's Hand Myra Brooks Welch It was battered and scarred, And the auctioneer thought itHardly worth his while To waste his time on the old violin,But he held it up with a smile."What am I bid, good people", he cried, "Who starts the bidding for me?" "One dollar, one dollar, Do I hear two?""Two dollars, who makes it three?" "Three dollars once, three dollars twice,Going for three". . . but no! From the room far back a gray-haired man Came forward and picked up the bow; Then wiping the dust from the old violin, And tightening up the strings, He played a melody, pure and sweet, As sweet as an angel sings. The music ceased and the auctioneer With a voice that was quiet and low, Said "What now am I bid for this old violin?" As he held it aloft with its bow. "One thousand, one thousand, Do I hear two?""Two thousand, Who makes it three?""Three thousand once, three thousand twice, Going and gone", said he. The people cheered, but some of them cried, "We do not quite understand. What changed its worth?" Swift came the reply: "The touch of the Master's hand." And many a man with life out of tune, And battered and scarred with sin, Is auctioned cheap to the thoughtless crowd Much like the old violin. A "mess of pottage," a glass of wine, A game and he travels on,He's going once, and going twice -He's going - and almost gone! But the MASTER comes, and the foolish crowd, Never can quite understand, The worth of a soul, and the change that's wrought By the touch of the MASTER'S hand. I love this!!!

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Quotes

We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. If a man is called to be a streetsweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven played music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, here lived a great streetsweeper who did his job well. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Quotes

Cowardice asks the question, 'Is it safe?' Expediency asks the question,'Is it politic?' But conscience asks the question, 'Is it right?' And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular but because conscience tells one it is right. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. I have the audacity to believe that people everywhere can have three meals a day for their bodies, education and culture for their minds, and dignity, quality, and freedom for their spirits. I believe that what self-centered men have torn down, other-centered men can build up. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. No, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream. In Germany they came first for the Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time no one was left to speak up. Martin Niemoeller (1892-1984)

Mark Copfer Prophecy

Mark Copfer (8 Nov 2008) "This is a must read NOW! EXCITING" Scott Walkington experienced a life after death experience. We have talked with him on several occasions and he spoke at our church. When he speaks, he is very articulate and he gives details that would be difficult to relate if this experience had not been real. Jesus gave Scott seven events that were to happen before the rapture. (1st Thes. 4:13-17; 5:1-4.) The following is Scott's thoughts on the past election. The fulfillment of the following will be the verification of whether Scott had a dream or his life after death experience was real. Whatever happens, this is definitely a time for Christians to pray for our families and our nation. Joyce Prophecy Date: Thu, 6 Nov 2008 00:46:57 -0600 Dear friends in Christ, Before I start, let me make this statement ... I'm just a messenger, nothing more, nothing less. Many of you asked in the past year or so who might be elected the next president, based on the Seven Signs that Jesus gave me in my heaven experience. And I answered that Obama's campaign seemed to match many of the issues that Jesus promised in this next candidate. I would have liked to shared this prophecy back then, but I did not want it to look like a political advertisement. So I chose to write about this AFTER the election. I can also tell you that this presidential election based on my heaven experience is prophecy being fulfilled. We're just one more milestone closer to the rapture. Just remember...except for local elections, last Tuesday's election was the LAST presidential election we will ever experience before the rapture. There will be no more! Isn't that exciting? Here is what's yet to happen. 1. Coming in January (inauguration) ... Due to a "problem", Obama will NOT be sworn in as the next president. He will never take that office. Why? I don't know. This is the missing piece to the puzzle. We must wait in anticipation to see whatever this "problem" might be. 2. Bush will be forced to extend his presidential term until this "problem" can be resolved. Remember, Jesus told me, "The president you know right now (meaning Bush) will be the last president you will know at the time of the rapture." 3. Violence will erupt within our nation due to this "problem". What might this be? Rioting? Demonstrations? Terrorism? We will wait and see. 4. Jesus told me, "Your troops will be brought home from around the world, but this does not mean peace." Then my minister, Rev. John Rice, (in heaven) said, "When this happens, stay off the airplanes, the trains and the interstate highways. If you must cross a river, use a less traveled bridge or a ferry. When driving, use as many back roads as possible." Then Jesus told me, "Your nation will need all the help it can get to defend itself." 5. World War III will erupt. All the nations will turn against this nation, blaming Bush for this "problem", but by the time the world realizes that Bush was not to blame, it will be too late. 6. Missiles will be dropped on cities on the east coast, then the west coast, making 9/11 look very minimal. 7. Then by the time we see missiles and fighter jets flying above us in all directions right here at home and you feel like it can't get any worse than this, that's when you know the rapture is about to take place. Our nation will lose this war badly. It will be the end of the United States. At this time the one world government and the Antichrist will take over. All these things I learned from my heaven experience. Jesus also told me, "These are all in God's plan. As horrible as these events may seem, these events must happen in order for the rapture to take place. But you must fear not, for as you see these things happen, you must realize these are merely milestones as we get closer to the rapture. Just do your works as normally as you possibly can. Then when this time comes, I will call you and everyone else on My list, in the twinkle of My eye, just that fast." Let me finish by saying, I'm just a messenger, nothing more, nothing less. God bless, Scott This prophecy I do believe. I had an experience of Obama. I know many many Europeans hate Bush not Obama, and I can see the world blaming Bush. It's always someone else for the world to blame the United States for everything as they already are. PRAY for the United States, We have murder the unborn, corruption in our Government, UN-GODLYNESS RUNNING RAMP IT, & so much more. It only takes time before God allows judgement to come to the United States. I know that this prophecy is not trying to pass hatred around but, information to us. Lift your voices to God, all Christians and pray for a revival for our land, our families, our friends. ARE YOUR LOVED ONES IN?? In CHRIST Thank you Love Rev. Londa

Cell Phone VS. Bible

Cell phone vs. Bible Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone? What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets? What if we flipped through it several time a day? What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it? What if we used it to receive messages from the text? What if we treated it like we couldn ' t live without it? What if we gave it to Kids as gifts? What if we used it when we travel ed? What if we used it in case of emergency? This is something to make you go....hmm... Where is my Bible? Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don ' t have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill. Makes you stop and think, where are my priorities? And no dropped calls! Trust in the Lord and *ASAP (Always Say A Prayer) Have a blessed and wonderful day! I think this is really good. Dad sent it to me. Thanks Dad!!! Love Rev. Londa Picard

Paul's Persecution

Paul's Persecution Paul went through a lot because of his beliefs of Jesus Christ. Preaching about Jesus Christ. He preached healing & he healed the disable and the sick. Paul was in Romans prison, Jews ran him out of their synagogues. How many of us could live through a stoning like Paul did, Acts 14:19Then Jews from Antioch & Iconium came there; and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead. Paul had conflict with some over customs and being saved. Acts 15:1-2 1) And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved 2) Therefore, when Paul & Barnabas had no small dissension and dispute with them, they determined that Paul & Barnabas and certain others of them should go up to Jerusalem, to the apostles and elders, about this question. Now we turn to the Bible for our answers. If it isn't there it is a custom not of the Bible. If it was of the Bible the Bible would say it correct? Paul even had the wind tear up the boat he was in. In Chapter 27 of Acts, talks about his trip to see Caesar in Roman. Then on that trip a very poisonous snake and the snake fastened on his hand Acts 28:3 But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat, & fastened on his hand. Paul just shook off the snake and suffered nothing from it. That is in Acts 28:5 Paul was able to overcome every area of the persecutions and hindrance. And came back even stronger then before. And Paul wrote to churches from prison and gave us a great deal of the New Testament. 2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness" Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. How many of us could go through things like Paul did? I've been through some things but not like Paul. With the world today there is a hatred towards Christians that is growing and growing and Radical Muslims hate us like there is no tomorrow. And soon we may have a radical muslin president. So we maybe where Paul was in the prison for our beliefs. Don't laugh just wait and see. The reason I used Paul is because he was a regular person like you and me. Most people say the only way Jesus Christ went through things He was the Son of God. Even Jesus went through things and yes, He is the Son of God. But, He wasn't any different then you and me. He went through a lot, Jesus died for our sins He shed His Blood for us. The lamb without blemish. At the very end God hurt so much and could not look at mans sin that God turned His face away from Jesus. Jesus raised from the dead. So, will we as Christians. NOTE: I am not preaching hatred towards Muslims. Not all Muslims are bad, the Radical Muslims are. Just like we have different Christians who make Christians have a bad name, also. They say they're Christians but, Jesus has no hatred. AMEN & AMEN (so, be it) Rev. Londa Picard

Be good to Yourself

I used this in my massage business. This is true how many times do we things to ourselves that is not good for us. Our body is the temple where God dwells, not to be good to the HOLY TEMPLE of GOD isn't good. So, start putting God first, His temple. In Christ Rev. Londa Picard
Knock, Knock I knocked at heaven's door this morning. > God asked me...' My child, what can I do for you?' And I said, 'Father, please protect and bless the person reading this message.' God smiled and answered... 'Request granted'. 'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.' this was also emailed to me!

Crosswalk

The Crosswalk Every once in a while, a seemingly-simple email comes around that ends up being quite profound. This is one of them. Whatever your cross, whatever your pain, there will always be sunshine, after the rain.... Perhaps you may stumble, perhaps even fall; But God's always ready, to answer your call.... He knows every heartache, sees every tear, a word from His lips, can calm every fear... Your sorrows may linger, throughout the night, But suddenly vanish, by dawn's early light... The Savior is waiting, somewhere above, to give you His grace, and send you His love. May God fill your day with blessings!! Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle! __________________ This was emailed to me. It's really good

Laundry Lesson

Laundry Lesson Whether or not we hang our laundry outdoors, there is a good lesson in this little story......... A young couple moves into a new neighborhood. The next morning while they are eating breakfast, the young woman sees her neighbor hanging the wash outside. 'That laundry is not very clean', she said. 'She doesn't know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap 'Her husband looked on, but remained silent. Every time her neighbor would hang her wash to dry, the young woman would make the same comments. About one month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband:'Look, she has learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this? 'The husband said, 'I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows. ' And so it is with life. What we see when watching others depends on the purity of the window through which we look. This was emailed to me. Thank you Gerry!! I didn't write it and I don't know who did. Sorry

Q&A from Perry Stone book the Meal that Heals

"Question #4 Should a person use fermented wine or simple grape juice when receiving the Communion? Answer: When Jesus held up the cup and introduced the New Covenant he called the cup the "fruit of the vine" (Matthew 26:29; Mark 14:25; Luke 22:18). According to historical sources, when wine was used at the Passover, a cup was mixed with three parts water and one part wine. This ensured believers that no alcohol would be active. Jesus Christ was sinless. In the Bible, normal bread contained leaven. Wine which sits for a long time becomes fermented. In Scripture, leaven represents sin. The bread at Passover and at Communion had no leaven, because Christ was without sin. Fermentation in wine occurs when the juice begins to break down and, with the help of bacteria, sugar turns into alcohol. Fermented wine has gone through this decaying process. Because the fruit of the vine is a picture of the blood of Christ, and Christ's blood was pure and untainted by the sin nature of Adam, I believe it is preferable to use pure grape juice." Narcissist by Ali Sina

Barack the NarcissistJim BramlettNov 5, 2008 Dear friends: This is forwarded not to be critical but to present a clinical description of the personality of the man who may soon become the leader of the free world and most powerful man in the world. It is important for people to know this information. It is chilling. It also explains Obama's almost hypnotic appeal to the masses, in spite of virtually no accomplishments in life, and his acts of grandiosity, such as the large stadium venue and Greek columns at his acceptance speech -- all acts of a pathological narcissist. It all makes sense. Jim_____________________________________ Ali Sina: Barack the Narcissist Posted by Israel Insider on November 3, 2008 at 11:52am in US Elections 2008 I must confess I was not impressed by Sen. Barack Obama from the first time I saw him. At first I was excited to see a black candidate. He looked youthful, spoke well, appeared to be confident a wholesome presidential package. I was put off soon, not just because of his shallowness but also because there was an air of haughtiness in his demeanor that was unsettling. His posture and his body language were louder than his empty words. Obama's speeches are unlike any political speech we have heard in American history. Never a politician in this land had such a quasi 'religious' impact on so many people. The fact that Obama is a total incognito with zero accomplishment, makes this inexplicable infatuation alarming. Obama is not an ordinary man. He is not a genius. In fact he is quite ignorant on most important subjects. Barack Obama is a narcissist. Dr. Sam Vaknin, the author of the 'Malignant Self Love,' also believes, "Barack Obama appears to be a narcissist." Vaknin is a world authority on narcissism. He understands narcissism and describes the inner mind of a narcissist like no other person. When he talks about narcissism everyone listens. Vaknin says that Obama's language, posture and demeanor, and the testimonies of his closest, dearest and nearest suggest that the Senator is either a narcissist or he may have narcissistic personality disorder (NPD). Narcissists project a grandiose but false image of themselves. Jim Jones, the charismatic leader of People's Temple, the man who led over 900 of his followers to cheerfully commit mass suicide and even murder their own children was also a narcissist. David Koresh, Charles Manson, Joseph Koni, Shoko Asahara, Stalin, Saddam, Mao, Kim Jong Ill and Adolph Hitler are a few examples of narcissists of our time. All these men had a tremendous influence over their fanciers. They created a personality cult around themselves and with their blazing speeches elevated their admirers' souls, filled their hearts with enthusiasm and instilled in their minds a new zest for life. They gave them hope! They promised them the moon, but alas, invariably they brought them to their doom. When you are a victim of a cult of personality, you don't know it until it is too late. One determining factor in the development of NPD is childhood abuse. 'Obama's early life was decidedly chaotic and replete with traumatic and mentally bruising dislocations,' says Vaknin 'Mixed-race marriages were even less common then. His parents went through a divorce when he was an infant (two years old). Obama saw his father only once again, before he died in a car accident. Then, his mother re-married and Obama had to relocate to Indonesia: a foreign land with a radically foreign culture, to be raised by a step-father. At the age of ten, he was whisked off to live with his maternal (white) grandparents. He saw his mother only intermittently in the following few years and then she vanished from his life in 1979. She died of cancer in 1995.' One must never underestimate the manipulative genius of pathological narcissists. They project such an imposing personality that it overwhelms those around them. Charmed by the charisma of the narcissist, people become like clay in his hands. They cheerfully do his bidding and delight to be at his service. The narcissist shapes the world around himself and reduces others in his own inverted image. He creates a cult of personality. His admirers become his co-dependents Narcissists have no interest in things that do not help them to reach their personal objective. They are focused on one thing alone and that is power. All other issues are meaningless to them and they do not want to waste their precious time on trivialities. Anything that does not help them is beneath them and do not deserve their attention. If an issue raised in the Senate does not help Obama in one way or another, he has no interest in it. The 'present' vote is a safe vote. No one can criticize him if things go wrong. Why should he implicate himself in issues that may become controversial when they don't help him personally? Those issues are unworthy by their very nature because they are not about him. Obama's election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review led to a contract and advance to write a book about race relations. The University of Chicago Law School provided him with a fellowship and an office to work on his book. The book took him a lot longer than expected and at the end it devolved into, guess what? His own autobiography! Instead of writing a scholarly paper focusing on race relations, for which, he had been paid, Obama could not resist writing about his most sublime self. He entitled the book 'Dreams From My Father.' Not surprisingly, Adolph Hitler also wrote his own autobiography when he was still nobody. So did Stalin. For a narcissist no subject is as important as his own self. Why would he waste his precious time and genius writing about insignificant things when he can write about such an august being as himself? Narcissists are often callous and even ruthless. As the norm, they lack conscience. This is evident from Obama's lack of interest in his own brother who lives on only one dollar per month. A man who lives in luxury, who takes a private jet to vacation in Hawaii, and who has raised nearly half a billion dollars for his campaign (something unprecedented in history) has no interest in the plight of his own brother. Why? Because, his brother cannot be used for his ascent to power. A narcissist cares for no one but himself. This election is like no other in the history of America . The issues are insignificant compared to what is at stake. What can be more dangerous than having a man bereft of conscience, a serial liar, and one who cannot distinguish his fantasies from reality as the leader of the free world? I hate to sound alarmist, but one must be a fool if one is not alarmed. Many politicians are narcissists. They pose no threat to others. They are simply self-serving and selfish. Obama evinces symptoms of pathological narcissism, which is different from the run-of-the-mill narcissism of a Richard Nixon or a Bill Clinton, for example. To him reality and fantasy are intertwined. This is a mental health issue, not just a character flaw. Pathological narcissists are dangerous because they look normal and even intelligent. It is this disguise that makes them treacherous. Today the Democrats have placed all their hopes in Obama. But this man could put an end to their party. The great majority of blacks have also decided to vote for Obama. Only a fool does not know that their support for him is racially driven. Let us call a spade a spade. This is racism, pure and simple. The truth is that while everyone carries a misconceived collective guilt towards the blacks for wrongs done centuries ago by a bygone people to a bygone people, the blacks carry a collective rancor, enmity or vendetta towards non-blacks and to this day want to 'stand up' to the white man.. They seem to be stuck in 19th century. The downside of this is that if Obama turns out to be the disaster I predict, he will cause widespread resentment among the whites. The blacks are unlikely to give up their support of their man. Cultic mentality is pernicious and unrelenting. They will dig their heads deeper in the sand and blame Obama's detractors of racism. This will cause a backlash among the whites. The white supremacists will take advantage of the discontent and they will receive widespread support. I predict that in less than four years, racial tensions will increase to levels never seen since the turbulent 1960s. Obama will set the clock back decades America is the bastion of freedom. The peace of the world depends on the strength of America, and its weakness translates into the triumph of terrorism and victory of rogue nations. It is no wonder that Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, the Castrists, the Hezbollah, the Hamas, the lawyers of the Guantanamo terrorists and virtually all sworn enemies of America are so thrilled by the prospect of their man in the White House. America is on the verge of destruction. There is no insanity greater than electing a pathological narcissist as president. This was just FYI. Pray now more then ever for our peace. Our country. Our world. This is the time for all of us to come together as Christians and really pray. Stand also for your Christian rights. God is our Lord, He is King of Kings, Lord of all! Our country does need intercessor prayer. That people eyes will be open. That God will be first in our lives. REMEMBER, this country was founded on the Bible, on God. IN GOD WE TRUST. Let that motto ring across our country. What Satan has put out there for evil God can change all things!!!!!! Pray!!!

Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin

Pray for our new leaders. There isn't coincidences in this world. God places the leaders for his time and purpose. Comes to my mind what Dad Hagen said before he passed on---- In a conference a word from the Lord--;" CHANGE CHANGE, CHANGE---: Change in the Government, Change in the Administrations and the third angle said, Change in the Churches. "Pray the Word of God and keep your eyes on the Eastern skies and pray for the peace of Jerusalem----. We know only peace will be when the Governments are on our Lords Shoulders and He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. His WORD says Let your heart "not be troubled---"these things has to be fulfilled---. Anytime The Father could say go get my children---Praise his Holy Name now and forever. Stand for what you do believe and know the word to back up your requests. The word says -- "my people will be known by the love they show one another. This was sent to be by dear friend Brenda. It is so true!!! Thank you Brenda Rev. Londa Picard

Subject: FW: Lie clock A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him. He asked, 'What are all those clocks?' St. Peter answered, 'Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move.' 'Oh,' said the man, 'whose clock is that?' 'That's Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie.' 'Incredible,' said the man'. And whose clock is that one?' St. Peter responded, 'That's Abraham Lincoln's clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life.' 'Where's Barack Obama's clock?' asked the man. 'Obama's clock is in Jesus' office. He's using it as a ceiling fan.

Question & Answers Perry Stones Book

Question 3: I helped my husband receive Communion for several weeks before he passed away. I began feeling that it really doesn't work, or my husband would have been healed. Can you help me with this? Answer: I do not know the circumstances of the situation with your husband, so I cannot address your particular issue directly. It is as important, however, for the person receiving Communion to have faith as it is for the one giving the Communion Supper. "Will...unbelief make the faithfulness of God with out effect? Certainly not (Romans 3:3, 4)! We all have to remember that it is appointed unto men once to die (Hebrews 9:27) If we receive Communion everyday, and live to be 100, eventually we will die. Communion cannot keep a person alive forever. The second point I want to make is that a person can enter the kingdom of heaven, even if he dies from sickness. The Bible says of a great prophet: Elisha had become sick with the illness of which he would die (2 Kings 13:14) If a person does all he can to be healed, and passes away, we must trust the Lord that He knows what is best and has deeper plans, of which we are not aware. One must not miss the true, personal meaning of the Communion= to bring the believer into a more personal and intimate relationship with Christ." Please, get the book "The Meal that Heals" by Perry Stone. It's really a good book!!!!! Love Rev. Londa

Future Supreme Court, Letter from Dutch Sheets

Subject: Future Supreme Court Letter from Dutch Sheets The Stakes Couldn’t be Higher The ramifications of this are staggering! We are no doubt reaping great judgment now in America—diseases, family breakdowns, violence, a death culture, destructive weather, and much more—because of abortion alone…not to mention expelling God and His laws from our schools and government. I don’t know that we can survive another 40 years of this without completely losing our godly heritage and destiny. The economy will recover and the war will end no matter who is elected president—but this is not the case with the Court and the soul of this nation. If you don’t know where the candidates stand on the Court and the kind of Justices they would appoint, read the USA Today article. It makes their positions very clear. Share this information with every friend and acquaintance you have. And finally, pray like never before for God’s will to be done in this election. We CAN win this war and we MUST NOT lose this war. Pick up your word, go to war and let’s make history togetherHere are some practical suggestions to consider: Fast (a meal a day; a day this week; a Daniel fast; 3 days; TV; etc.) and spend the time praying. Agree in prayer with someone everyday for God’s will to be done. Hold nightly prayer meetings Take time in every gathering to pray. (Take 15 minutes in every service to pray for the elections. Turn an entire service to harp and bowl style intercession—worship and prayer combined.) Join 2 or more friends on a conference call and pray for 15, 20, or 30 minutes. Pray on the way to work (and on the way home). Pray before you go to sleep. Pray before church services. Ask God to give you His strategy—He will! October 27, 2008 With the upcoming elections 8 days away, satan has worked hard to deflect attention off of the real issue. This has been relatively easy through the economic meltdown and an unpopular war. Many Americans, including Christians, will vote based on these two issues. While these things are obviously important, they pale in light of the real issue—the Supreme Court. The cover story of USA Today, on Thursday of last week, spelled this out quite clearly. It stated that the real legacy of the next president won’t be the economy or the war, but the Supreme Court. The next president of the United States will appoint at least 2, and maybe 3, Justices in his first term. If he serves 2 terms, it could be 5 Justices—there are 5 of the 9 on the Court 70 years old or older! Since the trend is to appoint younger and younger Justices, the next president will most likely shape the court for the next 30-40 years! This means we are not voting only for a president, we are voting for the Court we want for the next generation! The vote we cast on November 4th will do more to shape the culture we give our children and grandchildren than any other vote of our lifetime! Perhaps some succinct bullet points will help us see this clearly: Without question, no institution, organization, or agency has shaped the current culture of America in the last 50 years more than the Supreme Court. You don’t need millions of people, the majority in Congress, or the President to shape the culture of America. You only need 5 people—the majority of the Supreme Court. Five people can kill 50 million babies (the number aborted since Roe vs. Wade), legalize homosexual marriage, remove parental rights, put God out of schools and government, rob from us our godly heritage, etc. It is now split—sometimes 5-4 toward life, family, morality, our godly heritage, the intent of our forefathers when they wrote the Constitution; sometimes 5-4 toward death, immorality, legislating their beliefs from the bench (though not their constitutional role or right, this is easy—they simply say the Constitution is a fluid, living document and therefore must be changed to accommodate the times), removing God from our nation, etc. 2-3 Justices will retire over the next 4 years, their replacements chosen by the next president; possibly a couple more will step down 5 to 8 years from now, making it 5 potential Justices that could be appointed by the next president if he serves 2 terms. This will determine how the Court rules for a generation. The first two Justices to go will almost certainly be Stevens who is 88 years old and Ginsberg who is 75 and ill. They are the two most liberal and are no doubt waiting to retire, hoping for a president that will replace them with 2 more liberals. These two replacements alone, if they are good, conservative judges could shift the Court toward righteousness for many years. Conclusion: our vote this November 4th will be not for a president, not for the economy, not for ending our involvement in Iraq. Our vote will be for what we want America to look like 40 years from now! For God and Our Great Nation, Dutch Sheets Keep looking up! V.

Isaac Newton & The days of Noah

Isaac Newton and "the days of Noah" Jim BramlettNov 3, 2008 Dear friends: As I have said many times, I am not a prophit, nor the son of a prophit. Actually, I don’t even know how to spel prophit. (Just kidding. I could not resist the humor.) Seriously, I am a reporter, not a prophet. My main subject is Bible prophecy, which is why most or all of you are on this mailing list, which is about 13-14 years old now. As a reporter, I would be remiss if I did not report to you some of the latest insights I have discovered about the possible timing of the Lord’s return. If you are shocked at the thought that God might reveal such timing, maybe even the day, please read what the Bible really says in my brief essay at http://choicesforliving.com/docs/canweknow.htm. There are many misconceptions on this subject. The purpose of this message is to share with you the latest work of two diligent prophecy students. Their work satisfies my two favorite, all-time concepts in end-time dating. That is: 1. The conclusions of the brilliant Sir Isaac Newton (1642-1727) about the 69 (62+ 7) weeks of Daniel chapter 9. Newton’s understanding has always fascinated me because of his great intellect and also the fact that he studied the book of Daniel from age 12 until he died at age 85. The Columbia History of the World, a secular history book, remarks, "At the end of his days he spent more time studying and writing about the prophecies in the Book of Daniel than he did in charting the heavens." Did God Himself put in Newton's heart this burning desire to study Daniel, then give him the key to the timing of Christ's return? Could this be the final profound secret the Lord revealed to this godly genius, the “father of modern science” near the end of his life -- a secret "accidentally" discovered in the Library of Congress and republished just in this past decade -- a secret so simple that most have missed it? 2. The major clue given to us by the Lord that the rapture would be “as in the days of Noah” (Matthew 24:37). For years I have felt that “the days of Noah” clue did not just mean a surprise on a sinful and unsuspecting people, but that an actual date is revealed. It is no accident that the Lord gave the exact calendar date that Noah entered the ark and the flood began -- the 17th day of the second month, or Cheshvan 17 on the Jewish calendar (Genesis 7;11, 13). Noah lived before the feast days were given to Moses, so the rapture may have no relation to Jewish feast days. The independent work of prophecy students Jerry Grenough and Marilyn Agee resulted in the above two concepts converging on Cheshvan 17, 2008, which on our Gregorian calendar is November 15, 2008. Read Jerry’s work on his November 1, 2008 post at http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/nov2008/jerryg111.htm. Read Marilyn’s work on her October 29, 2008 post at http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/oct2008/marilyna1029-1.htm. I commend Jerry and Marilyn for their insightful work. Jim

Proverbs 1:27-33

27) When your terror comes like a storm, And your destruction comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you. 28) Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me. 29) Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the Lord. 30) They would have none of my counsel And despised my every rebuke. 31) Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way. and be filled to the full with their own fancies. 32) For the turning away of the simple will slay them, And the complacency of fools will destroy them; 33) But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil. I know a lot of people doesn't believe in the end time coming, that we're all crazy. I rather be crazy for the Lord then be attacked by evil. God promises us if we will listen to Him we will dwell in His safety, & will be secure. We don't have to fear evil. We cannot live like satan himself, we need to listen to God and live His way!! Oh, you say there is no fun in God. Oh, yes there is!! Getting with a wonderful church group who has actives. The learning of the Lord!! If you keep going your own way God calls you a fool and you say there is no God. Start seeking God and wisdom. You cannot go wrong. It would be better for you to live with God then to be fools and live like satan. You will not go wrong doing that. You would also bring wholeness unto your soul & spirit. Not a dieing soul & spirit but life. Just take a momment and think about that. It would be better wrong with Christ, then dead wrong with satan. IN CHRIST NAME & LOVE AMEN Rev. Londa

It's only a quarter

Several years ago, a preacher from out-of-state accepted a call to a church in Houston , Texas . Some weeks after he arrived, he had an occasion to ride the bus from his home to the downtown area. When he sat down, he discovered that the driver had accidentally given him a quarter too much change. As he considered what to do, he thought to himself, 'You' d better give the quarter back. It would be wrong to keep it.' Then he thought, 'Oh, forget it, it's only a quarter. Who would worry about this little amount? Anyway, the bus company gets too much fare; they will never miss it. Accept it as 'a gift from God' and keep quiet.' When his stop came, he paused momentarily at the door, then he handed the quarter to the driver and said, 'Here, you gave me too much change.' The driver, with a smile, replied, 'Aren't you the new preacher in town? I have been thinking a lot lately about going somewhere to worship. I just wanted to see what you would do if I gave you too much change. I'll see you at church on Sunday.'When the preacher stepped off of the bus, he literally grabbed the nearest light pole, held on, and said, 'Oh God, I almost sold your Son for a quarter.'Our lives are the only Bible some people will ever read. This is a really scary example of how much people watch us as Christians and will put us to the test! Always be on guard and remember that you carry the name of Christ on your shoulders when you call yourself 'Christian'. Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits, they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny. I'm glad a friend forwarded this to me as a reminder. God bless you. Yes, a friend emailed this to me. It is really good!! Love Rev. Londa
