AUL

Dear Friend,

Scott Brown's unexpected victory last night in Massachusetts was a shot heard around the world - for life.

Senator-elect Brown made opposition to the health care bill one of the cornerstones of his campaign, stating repeatedly that he would be the key "41st vote" in the Senate that would derail the bill. The people of Massachusetts have made it clear - they are with him. Our fight is long from over, but there is no doubt that this special election is a major victory for those who don't want to see taxpayer-funded abortion.

Our opponents are still pushing hard in Congress, and we need to keep this momentum going. Just yesterday, Senator Barbara Boxer told a reporter that the health care bill will do “nothing to restrict coverage” of abortion. Make no mistake, they will use our tax dollars to pay for abortions – funding the largest expansion of abortion in our nation’s history – if we don’t stop them.

With the March for Life in Washington, DC just two days away, let's send another big message to our elected leaders. I encourage all of you to join us on January 22nd for what is clearly the most important March for Life in history.

If you can’t be here, we are making sure you can still be heard.

Last Friday we announced the first Virtual March for Life, an innovative online campaign that ensures every voice is heard. We are overwhelmed with the outpouring of support we have received thus far.

Over 30,000 Americans are marching online now, and thousands more are signing up each day.

I want to personally thank everyone who is marching for life at this critical time. If you have not already taken a few seconds to sign up for the Virtual March for Life, please follow this link to join now. If you have already joined, please forward my email to everyone you know, and join the thousands of people already on Facebook and Twitter (the hashtag is #march4life) encouraging their friends and followers to join the virtual march as well.

Thank you again for your strong support for life!

For life,

Charmaine Yoest
