Why -- on his busy, very first day in office??? On January 21st, 2009, his very first day in office, Barack Obama implemented and signed into law Executive Order 13489. Take the time to read Executive Order 13489 by clicking on the link in the paragraph above. You will see the official document from the Federal Register bearing Obama's signature. Here is the section that applies: "Sec.2 Notice Of Intent To Disclose Presidential Records When the Archivist provides notice to the incumbent and former Presidents of his intent to disclose Presidential records pursuant to section 1270.46 of the NARA regulations, the Archivist, using any guidelines providied by the incumbent and former Presidents, shall identify any specific materials, the disclosure of which he believes may raise a substantial question of executive privilege." (emphasis added) The White House press secretary, many Members of Congress (both Democrat and Republican, sorry to say), 99% of journalists, and an hysterical gallery of Obama-crazed "experts" continue to claim that those who raise the issue of Obama's legitimacy as the American president are "right-wing nut jobs." Obama's birth certificate, sniff these critics, is a "non-issue." If, however, combative Democrats and duped Republicans actually believe their defense of Obama's legitimacy as a "natural-born citizen" (a qualification for office that is required of any president by the U.S. Constitution), doesn't it strike you as odd that the first order of business Obama took care of on busy Day One of his presidency was to sign off on an Executive Order that only the records HE chooses to be made public will be released? Most normal folks would believe that such a maniacal act of state secrecy for private purposes would be absolute proof that Obama is hiding something. Something very big. Something that would constitute the biggest act of political fraud in the world . . . except for Kenya. –Mike Thompson, former chairman, Florida Conservative Union, 7/22/09 _____________________________________ On this subject, everyone can smell a big rat, except the derelict, lap-dog, state-run, mainstream media and that fair-and-balanced pretender, Fox News.
