AUL

Dear Friend of Life,

Unless we act now, pro-abortion politicians, at the urging of Planned Parenthood, will soon expand taxpayer-funded abortion to cover U.S. military bases.

Hidden within this year's Defense Authorization Bill is an amendment that will allow military clinics to conduct abortions using your tax dollars. Written by outgoing Democrat Senator Roland Burris, this amendment alters current law and would allow military personnel to perform elective abortions in military facilities.

Simply put, the Burris amendment will turn U.S. military facilities into abortion clinics.

We must get the word out about this dangerous amendment before it's too late. Will you stand with AUL against taxpayer-funded abortion by making an urgent, tax-deductible contribution of $50, $100, $250, or more? The Senate will begin discussion on this bill immediately after Labor Day, so we must act fast.

It is shocking to think that Washington politicians would conceal a massive expansion of taxpayer-funded abortion within the Defense budget. But that's exactly what they are attempting to do. We need to tell the American taxpayers the truth about this dangerous amendment and let these pro-abortion politicians know that we will not be deceived.

With a generous tax-deductible contribution of $50, $100, $250 or more, you can help us speak out and ensure that our tax dollars are not used to support abortions on military bases.

As you know, we're fighting a growing battle to stop the largest expansion of taxpayer-funded abortion in history. And we refuse to let the enemies of life gain the upper hand in this fight. Our military bases should be safe havens for our troops – not abortion clinics. But, with your immediate, tax-deductible contribution of $50, $100, $250 or more, we can fight back.

Yours for Life,

P.S. Make no mistake about it: the Burris amendment will turn U.S. military hospitals into abortion clinics. It is vital that we have the necessary funding before the Senate begins discussion on the bill. With your urgently needed, tax-deductible donation of $50, $100, $250 or more – we will work to prevent this shameful attempt to expand taxpayer-funded abortion. Remember: your donation is 100% tax-deductible by law, and there's no limit to what you can give today. – Charmaine
