I WILL #2

I WILL - 2

SERVICE - I WILL

Matthew 4:19
And He said to them, "Follow Me, & I will make you fishers of men."

Luke 5:10
and so also were James & John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon, "Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men"

John 12:32
"And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself."

Peter obeyed Him! Look at the day of Pentecost & see how Peter was blessed. He had obeyed Christ & on the day of Pentecost Peter brought in his catch into the kingdom of heaven! Peter was in the service of the Lord!
Remember the old song "I Never Promised You A Rose Garden", Jesus did not say your life will always will be perfect!! God wants you in His Service. To bring others to Him. That doesn't mean you have to become an evangelist or a preacher. You are useful, just how God made you.
As Matthew 4:19 says "Follow Me, & I will make you fishers of men". As fishing companies they do use large fishing nets. (People uses fishing nets then & now). Now before you could use a fishing net you had to throw your net out. But, you cannot just leave it out, you will have to bring it back in. If you only caught one that's ok, but you want to catch more than just one. Ask any fisher. But, let us turn things here & say we had a fishing net for people. We need to throw our little or big fishing net, because, a person may bring in one or their whole family.
You never know what person may be brought into the Family of God. It maybe somebody like Billy Graham, D.L. Moody, Andrew Murry, Perry Stone, Melissa Scott, may be a Paul or a Peter. Or even a Carmen, Amy Grant, you just never know whom.
Remember this world is perishing & people needs Jesus Christ, a savior, hope, heaven. Christians is in the world but not of the world. They are the light in this world. You do not want loved ones in the dark, you want them part of the light. Just like a praying Grandmother or Mother for their children to enter the Kingdom of God; they may just have to pray or show their children that there is a difference in light & dark. And that their children would have a better life in the light.

COMFORT - I WILL

John 14:3 & 18
3) "And if I go & prepare a place for you, I will come again & receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
18) "I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

Jesus is telling us He will not leave us alone as hurting orphans but, He will come to us. Jesus sent us the Comforter the Holy Spirit!! He is always there!! Did He leave Joseph? Did He leave Daniel? What about Paul? Or John we can go on with names of people He never left alone.

Acts 7:9
"And the patriarchs, becoming envious, sold Joseph into Egypt. But God was with him.

Matthew 28:20
"teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; & lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

Philippians 3:14
I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

God went into the Den of Lions with Daniel. God did not leave Joseph in the prison. Look also at Paul, As a Christian God will never leave you. Now Jesus is our Big Brother & He also watches out for us & protects us. He goes before the Father for our case. Jesus left, so the Comforter the Holy Spirit could come. We acknowledge Him that He is here. The Holy Spirit has power to heal, give us liberty and to set us free!!!! PTL
