Favor of God 1 From the Parable of the Talents, Matthew 25:14-30 the scriptures gives you an example of how Gods favor really works. It tells us one of the ways that God rewards us. Look at Matthew 25:20-3020) "So he who had received five talents came & brought five other talents, saying, Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more besides them."21) "His lord said to him, Well done, good & faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord,"22) "He also who had received two talents came & said, Lord you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them."23) "His lord said to him, Well done, good & faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord,"24) "Then he who had received the one talent came & said, "Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, & gathering where you have not scattered seed.25) "And I was afraid, & went & hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours"26) "But his lord answered & said to hime, "You wicked & lazy servent, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, & gather where I have not scattered seed.27) "Therefore you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, & at my coming I would have received back my own with interest.28) "Therefore take the talent from him, & give it to him who has ten talents.29) "For to everyone who has, more will be given & he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.30) "And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping & gnashing of teeth." This does reveal how God rewards those who are good & faithful. Now when we are faithful in little things, It gives God the opportunity to bless us. Wouldn't you want to be blessed with Gods favor?? I sure would. The Bible tells us how to have Favor with God. The Bible is a how to book. You do want to be the head & not the tail in things. In Deuteronomy 28 it tells of His favor & His promised blessing for obedience. It also tell of promised curses for disobedience. But, we are looking at the promises of blessing for obedience. Deuteronomy 28:11-1311) "And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increased of your livestock, & in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give to you.12) "The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season, & to blessall the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.13) "And the Lord will make you the head & not the tail; you shall be above, and not be beneath, If you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I comments you today, & be careful to observe them. See how the Word of God is simple. Here you have to be obedience to get the promises of favor from God! Psalm 5:12For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor will surround him as with a shield. In Perry Stone book "Anointed with Favor" (which you should get this book & read it) tells of George Washington and how he had found Gods favor. George Washington the founding father of our country was blessed & kept safe. A letter that George Washington wrote his brother on July 18, 1755:"By the all-powerful dispensation of Providence, I have been protected beyond all human probability or expectation; for I had four bullets through my coat and two horses shot under me. Yet I escaped unhurt, although death was leveling my companions on every side of me"There was a Native American said in Pictorial Encyclopedia of American History, Volume 2 pg 96. The biography of Mary Draper records that when she was kidnapped by the Indians she overheard between the French & Chief Red Hawk personally told of the eleven shots he had at Washington & didn't kill him. He ceased firing & was convinced the Great Spirit was protecting him. another time it was said that 'Washington was born never to be killed by a bullet. I had seventeen fair fires at him with my rifle and, after all, could not bring him to the ground'. If our founding father of George Washington found Favor of God and as a strong Christian that he was founded the United States of America.We can be a strong Christian and we can find the that Favor of God.He believed the Bible and what it said. And he took it to the point that his uniform had 4 bullet holes in it and two horses shot from under him. Now I don't want to be shot at, but I do want the Favor of God in my life. Don't you?! Paul, George Washington, John G Lakes, Kenneth Hagin Sr., they all had the supernaturally protection of God. We need to have this kind of faith, we need to believe in God and in what God has said in His written Word. What Jesus told us to do, what Paul, Peter, John, all the apostles wrote in the Bible. We need to find that Favor of God, follow & believe. Having the Faith to believe as these people who came before us. Even our fore-fathers & their families came here to the United States. They had to have faith in God and God gave them Favor. Ronald Reagan believed in God and found God's Favor. Our country needs to find the Favor of God again. We get caught up in our own lives that we forget we still have to fight for Our freedom to stay free. Jesus Christ wants us free of other things also. The that comes to mind is SIN. We all need to repent of our sins and to pray for the sins of our country. I don't know where that came from but, God is saying something to us. That we need to get this Country back to the one true God. Not Buddah, not Mohamma, not alle (sorry about the spelling) We do need to find the Favor of God in our lives. The supernational power of God!!! He loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son for us, Jesus Christ the Lamb of God. We need to put Him first. If our presidents can put God first in their lives. Why can't we do that? Read the word and believe what is written there. Gods favor what a blessing, don't you want the fulness of life, of blessing from God? You might be crazy if you don't! I do!! We need to keep our eyes on God the Father, God the Son, & God the Holy Spirit. They will never lead us to damnation. Our lives need to glorified God. We need to learn how to praise Him also! To walk in His knowledge. And when we say Amen believe what it means "So Be It".Amen!!!!!!
