Coming Problems

Coming repression, and/or social revolution Jim Bramlett Apr 14, 2009 Dear friends:Hopefully, the rapture will happen before things go from bad to worse. But the signs of political repression are already appearing. A newly unclassified Department of Homeland Security report warns against the possibility of violence by unnamed "right-wing extremists" concerned about illegal immigration, increasing federal power, restrictions on firearms, abortion and the loss of U.S. sovereignty and singles out returning war veterans as particular threats. See http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=94803Let me interpret that. The Obama administration is targeting people who disagree with their radical left-wing agenda. I believe the day is near when they will use police state tactics to shut down all opposition. The term "unnamed right-wing extremists" refers to anyone who speaks out against illegal immigration (which gets votes for Democrats), gun control, abortion, etc. The "Fairness Doctrine" to shut down conservative talk radio is another oppressive aim of the left to trample the Constitution and silence those who disagree with them..At the same time, there are signs of severe backlash and social revolution. Just today, Texas Gov. Rick Perry joined state Rep. Brandon Creighton and sponsors of House Concurrent Resolution (HCR) 50 in support of states rights under the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. "I believe that our federal government has become oppressive in its size, its intrusion into the lives of our citizens, and its interference with the affairs of our state," Gov. Perry said. "That is why I am here today to express my unwavering support for efforts all across our country to reaffirm the states rights affirmed by the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. I believe that returning to the letter and spirit of the U.S. Constitution and its essential 10th Amendment will free our state from undue regulations, and ultimately strengthen our Union." Perry continued: "Millions of Texans are tired of Washington, DC trying to come down here to tell us how to run Texas." Thank God for Governor Perry. Hopefully, Chuck Norris and the Texas Rangers will be turned loose to run the Feds out of the state! In addition, in reenactments of the 1773 Boston Tea Party protest against the oppressive British government, tea parties are being held all over the nation to protest U.S. federal power grabs, encroachment on our rights, and excessive taxation. So, if Jesus tarries, and the trend continues, will Americans continue to tolerate increasing destruction of the Constitution under the guise of "change," becoming slaves to the state, or will they stand up, fight it, and take back our country, bringing the real kind of change we need?
