The Gospel - 24/7 Childs' InterpretationOf Psalm 23Author Unknown Follow Book & Flag Children Explain Their Understanding of Psalm 23 A Mom was concerned about her kindergarten son walking to school. He didn't want his mother to walk with him. She wanted to give him the feeling that he had some independence but yet know that he was safe. So she had an idea of how to handle it. She asked a neighbor, Mrs. Goodnest, if she would please follow him to school in the mornings, staying at a distance, so he probably wouldn't notice her. Mrs. Goodnest said that since she was up early with her toddler anyway, it would be a good way for them to get some exercise as well, so she agreed. The next school day, Mrs. Goodnest and her little girl, Marcy, set out following behind Timmy as he walked to school with another neighbor boy he knew. She did this for the whole week. As the boys walked and chatted, kicking stones and twigs, Timmy's little friend noticed the same lady was following them as she seemed to do every day all week. Finally he said to Timmy, "Have you noticed that lady following us to school all week? Do you know her?" Timmy nonchalantly replied, "Yeah, I know who she is". The friend said, "Well, who is she"? "That's just Shirley Goodnest", Timmy replied, "and her daughter Marcy". "Shirley Goodnest? Who the heck is she and why is she following us"? "Well", Timmy explained, "every night my Mom makes me say the 23rd Psalm with my prayers, 'cuz she worries about me so much. And in the Psalm, it says, 'Shirley Goodnest and Marcy shall follow me all the days of my life', so I guess I'll just have to get used to it"!

I love the United States, I was born & raised here. My family history just in Kansas goes back to 1840's and before that out east for more. I don't believe a muslin should run our country. I have not found anything good about him. That is why I have been placing thing about Sarah Palin on my blog from Jim Bramlett. Psalm 2

Blessed are all those who put their trust in HIM. It is good to know the out come of things. God is for us & He has given us victory. Happy Fall

Happy Fall to everyone. ' HAPPY FALL TO YOU' From one pumpkin to another!!!!!!!A woman was asked by a coworker, 'What is it like to be a Christian?'The coworker replied, 'It is like being a pumpkin.' God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. Then He cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff.He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, and greed. Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see.' This was e-mail to me by my sister Barb, it was so good I wanted to put it here. Testing the Spirits

Even believers can yield to the wrong spirits. Peter once rebuked Christ, telling him that he would not suffer and Jesus said; Get the behind me satan. Peter wasn't satan but he was speaking contrary to Gods will. Matthew 16:23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, satan! You are an offense to Me for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men." Ananias & Sapphire were told that satan had filled their hearts to lie to the Holy Spirit. Acts 5:3 & 9A 3) But Peter said, Ananias, why has satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? 9) Then Peter said to her, How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Our spirit is born again, but, our minds need continually to be renewed. Our carnal mind could yield to the fiery darts of satan and if we do not renew our minds we may play into the adversary hands. And not even know it. Ephesians 4:23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind. Evil spirits can motivate our carnal mind of certain people to slander & criticize ministries. Those who do not investigate the facts will accept the rumors as truth. So, investigate a rumor, do not pass it on to others. Know and learn the truth yourself. Go to the person and ask. Still don't pass on a rumor. You hear about other ministers doing this and doing that, you must know the truth about it. Just don't take somebody word on it. God doesn't want his people or church to have conflicts like this. It is an attack of God's people. Churches have been attack from the spirits sent by the adversary satan. People will just think it's a battle with the board members, or the carnal church members, or even the pastor. Because hindering spirits are usually invisible and therefore not very easy to detected.Hindering spirits are crafty or sly in their approach.Satan doesn't want people to know that he is at work in churches especially their own church. Even satanist can and tries to put curses on churches. You need to know what or who is out there attacking Gods Churches. People may or may not even know what is going on themselves. If it's conflict, rumors and so on and so on you need to know it's not God it's satan attacking. So, Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. So we need to test the spirits and so when you see your church in trouble over things. Find the truth, Pray, and Pray that people will have their eyes open to the truth. Seek God for answers.

Who Is the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is a person. He is the third party on/of the Trinity, The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit, The Holy Spirit is just as much of God as the Father, and God the Son. Jesus referred to Holy Spirit as a He not an it; because the Holy Spirit is not a force but a person. Romans 8:16The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are Children of God. We see from Gods Word that the Holy Spirit has intellect, emotions, and will. Also the Bible reads as someone who wasn't just a force, but a real person. The Holy Spirit speaks to us. Revelation 2:7A He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. That small still voice. The one that tells you to go a certain way and you go and avoid a car wreck or some bad thing. We need to listen as a whole, as the church, His Bride. He intercedes for us: Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered. Jesus sent Him as an intercedes. Mostly when we do not know what or how to pray. He stands before God as that intercedes. He gives us strength when we are weak.I'm so thankful that the Holy Spirit is there in my weakness. If I'm hurting I have a hard time praying. He knows what I feel on my heart that I don't know how to ask/pray and he can say that to God for me. He knows me. That is why he can intercedes for me. The Holy Spirit testifies: John 15:26 But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father He will testify of Me. He leads us: Acts 8:29 Then the Spirit said to Philip, Go near and overtake this chariot. Philip ran and caught up with that chariot. Could you run as fast as a horse? Not me. Philip obeyed and look what he was able to do. Wouldn't you like that! Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, theses are the sons of God. He leads us by Gods Spirit. And He lets us know that we really are the Sons of God. Just as I was led to talk about the Holy Spirit. And where to look. He lead me. He commands us: Acts 16:6-7 (6)Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia, (7)After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the spirit did not permit them. This says it all. Gods Spirit knows what is best for us The Holy Spirit Guides us: John 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth has come, He will guide you into all truth, for He will not speak on His own authority, but, whatever He hears He will speak, and He will tell you things to come. The Holy Spirit doesn't speak about His own authority, He speaks what God tells Him to tell us. He doesn't make something up. He only tells the truth; the whole truth. And we should listen. He appoints: Acts 20:28 Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood. He has appointed us as overseers of the flock, just as the Good Shepherd oversees his flock, his family. We are His children he paid the price for us with the shedding of Jesus blood. In the Hawaiian language O'HANA - means family never gets left behind. And as overseers we cannot leave anybody behind. We're to up-lift them, to stand by each other, to love one another, to be O'hana. Come and be a part of the family of God. Our Big Brother Jesus paid the price for it so, we could be adopted and become the family of God

Walk in love.

No matter who you are we all need to walk in love. Not to hate or put out hate crimes. Nobody is going to be perfect, only Jesus Christ was able to do that. I'm human also, and Christ is number one in my life. I'm here to get his word out. Not to do wrong. My writing are written by me, the others such as Jim or Jim Bramlett is written by them I only copy them over. I don't want a muslin in the white house. If you don't like either runner write in the one you do want. This is the United States, I'm thinking about doing Bill Cosby. He's right on!! I don't like to offend anybody but, I will if it goes against Jesus Christ & I will not care if I do offend you. I don't care, but I'm a Jesus Freak and I proud to admit it. 9 Gifts of the Holy Spirit

Let the Church return to the original faith of the glory of God and the power of Christ as clearly demonstrated in the New Testament. This can be done by the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit. It needs to be demonstration above the controversy that has been in the Church as long as the Holy Spirit was sent back to us, when Jesus went to the thrown of glory. The Holy Spirit is not only present but exercisable through faith. It is the same Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:1-10 (1)Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: (2)You know that you were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, however you were led.(3)Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. (4)Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. (5)There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. (6)And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. (7)But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: (8)for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit. (9)to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the same Spirit, (10)to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongue's, to another the interpretation of tongues. 1-"The word of wisdom" 2-"The word of knowledge" 3-"Faith by the same Spirit" 4-"The gifts of healing" 5-"The working of miracles" 6-"To another prophecy" 7-"to another discerning of spirits" 8-"To another divers kinds of tongues" 9-"To another the interpretation of tongues" 1 Corinthians 12:11 But one and the same Spirits, works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. 1 Corinthians 12:28 And God has appointed these in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, administrations varieties of tongues, The unchanging order of spiritual endearment, and ministry of the gifts of the Spirit as in 1 Corinthians 12:28. Billy Graham said:"Are you aware that anything short of a Spirit-controlled life is less than God's promise for you?" (His book on The Holy Spirit). You need the Holy Spirit to have controlled over your life. Look what David did, he danced in what we would call underwear. Now I'm not asking you to run around in your underwear. I just want to show you how sold out you should be to the Holy Spirit. You want the best for your life, is that not correct. God is telling you that also. It's not a one time thing but a daily thing. Renew it daily. Matthew 12:31-32 (31)Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men (32)Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.

So when they pulled in in their bus the sign did catch their, McCain and Palin and the rest of their family, it caught their eye, we could tell, they gave us a thumbs-up from the bus, so we were all excited just by that -- RUSH: Wait, wait, wait. Who gave you the thumbs up, McCain and Palin? CALLER: McCain, Palin, Cindy McCain, we could see them from the bus. We were in a position where we had eye contact with them -- RUSH: Oh, cool! CALLER: My wife was holding our daughter. RUSH: Very, very, very cool. CALLER: It was really cool, Rush. I was like, "Wow, that's awesome," because I love Governor Palin and so I thought that's really neat. So then we moved around as the bus was getting ready to pull out, we kind of positioned ourselves so we could just wave them on and a Secret Service agent came up to us and said, "Hey, can you come with us?" I was like, "Do we have a choice?" <> RUSH: (laughing) You shouldn't have worried. It's not the Clinton administration. CALLER: Right. So we accompanied them up the hill, we went right to the bus, where it was, and Governor Palin, Senator McCain, Cindy, Todd Palin, they're all standing there. We're in this inner circle with just us and them, and the Secret Service agent, and they came right up to us and thanked us for coming out, said they loved our sign, and Governor Palin immediately said, "May I hold your daughter?" and our daughter Chloe, who's five, went right to her, and I hav e some pictures I'd love to send you maybe when I'm done here, but Governor Palin was hugging Chloe, and then her little daughter brought their baby Trig who has Down syndrome from the bus, he was napping, and Chloe went right over and kissed him on the cheek, and my son Nolan who's nine, he thanked her. CALLER: I will send you all the stuff, Senator McCain was talking to my son, and we thanked him for his service, and he asked my son if he wanted to see the bus, and we were hanging out and it was very surreal. I felt like we could have had a pizza and a beer with them, they were so warm. RUSH: You know what? I want to put you on hold.
