I Am the LORD that Healeth

I am the Lord That Healeth James 5:14 &15 14) Is any sick among you? let him call for the Elders of the Church, & let them pray over him anointing him with oil in the Name of the Lord; 15) And the prayer of Faith shall save the sick, & the Lord shall raise him up: & if he have committed sins they shall be forgiven him. We're being told very simply by God, that whom-ever is sick, go to the Elders of the church & have them anoint you with oil & to pray over you, while you confess your sins & you shall be forgiven. Doing all of this in the Name of the Lord! You have done what you been told to do. The Elders has done what they're suppose to do. Now it is in God's Hands. Now you can rest in the assurance of the Lord to raise you up. It's the promise of God's Word! You have to believe God's truth (which is His Word). As James tells us in: James 5:19 & 20 19) Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, & some turns him back, 20) let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death & cover a multitude of sins. Now, if you turn away from any part of God's truth, then you are leaving an opening for the enemy to come in. God's Word is the truth! It doesn't changed! Matthew 18:19 Again I say to you that if two of you on earth concerning anything that they ask,it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. It isn't just in one place of the bible about healing, it's written all over the Bible! Now that you have asked the Elders, that will make two people who believe & are in agreement. Matthew 18:19 says two; both say ask in the Name of the Lord. Are you going to believe man or God's Word? God's Word is the truth, not man. John 8:32 "And you shall know the truth, & the truth shall make you free," John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father Except through Me. Now that you know what is the truth. And you know God wants you free from sickness, bondage, sin, satan, self, anything that is holding you back from God & His Blessing. If you do not believe me, believe the word of God. It's there in your Bible. On this matter of healing, deliverance, it just isn't once in the Bible it's through pout the Word of God. So, I am not taking one verse. A couple of verses out of the several. Old & New Testament And the Bible doesn't say it was only for the early church. Remember God never changes. Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them. Matthew 7:7 Ask, & it shall be given you; seek, & you shall find; knock, & it shall be open unto you Remember, this is not a give me, give me license. The Bible doesn't say you'll be rich.It does say God will meet your needs. It does say Gods will is for you to be healed. To repent, to turn away from your sins. To believe, to ask, to seek Him. The Bible is just as much for today as it was for the early church. It's Gods covenant!!! Not mine but, HIS. The early church even used handkerchiefs or aprons. Look at : Acts 19:11 & 12 11) And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: 12) So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, & the diseases departed from them, & the evil spirits went out of them. Smith Wigglesworth used the handkerchiefs for people with addictions; as he (Smith Wigglesworth) would say drunkards. Had the mans wife put it under his pillow, in the pillowcase. The story goes that the man went to several pubs & he told all the bartenders that they were poisoning him. Yes, the man turned to the Lord. The Lord has power to set captive people free! Smith Wigglesworth tells of many adults & children being healed by the touching of the handkerchiefs. The handkerchiefs had been prayed over like Paul did. Always remember: 1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, & have overcome them; BECAUSE GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU, then he that is in the world. Matthew 8:17 That is might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the Prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, & bare our sicknesses. In the name of Jesus Christ! Amen & Amen = so be it. Rev.
