RECENT VIRGINIA CHURCH
SERVICE-STIMULUS SERMON
Genesis 47:13-27
I would love to give the Pastor of this predominantly black church in
Virginia a hug and a high five. This guy is obviously a leader
Perhaps we should each decide who our
real leader is....It is amazing to see that very little has
changed in 4,000 years.
---------------------------------------------------
Good morning, brothers and sisters; it's always a delight to see
the pews crowded on Sunday morning, and so eager to get into
God's Word. Turn with me in your Bibles, if you will to the 47th
chapter of Genesis, we'll begin our reading at verse 13, and go
through verse 27.
Brother Ray, would you stand and read that great passage for us?
....(reading)...
Thank you for that fine reading, Brother Ray... So we see that
economic hard times fell upon Egypt , and the people turned to
the government of Pharaoh to deal with this for them. And Pharaoh
nationalized the grain harvest, and placed the grain in great storehouses
that he had built. So the people brought their money to Pharaoh, like a
great tax increase, and gave it all to him willingly in return for grain. And
this went on until their money ran out, and they were hungry again.
So when they went to Pharaoh after that, they brought their
livestock -their cattle, their horses, their sheep, and their donkey -
to barter for grain, and verse 17 says that only took them through
the end of that year..
But the famine wasn't over, was it? So the next year, the people
came before Pharaoh and admitted they had nothing left, except
their land and their own lives. "There is nothing left in the sight
of my lord but our bodies and our land. Why should we die before
your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for food,
and we with our land will be servants to Pharaoh." So they
surrendered their homes, their land, and their real estate to
Pharaoh's government, and then sold themselves into slavery
to him, in return for grain. What can we learn from this, brothers
and sisters?
That turning to the government instead of to God to be our provider
in hard times only leads to slavery? Yes.. That the only reason
government wants to be our provider is to also become our master?
Yes.
But look how that passage ends, brothers and sisters! Thus Israel
settled in the land of Egypt , in the land of Goshen .. And they gained
possessions in it, and were fruitful and multiplied greatly." God
provided for His people, just as He always has! They didn't end up
giving all their possessions to government, no, it says they gained
possessions! But I also tell you a great truth today, and an ominous
one. We see the same thing happening today - the government today
wants to "share the wealth "once again, to take it from us and redistribute
it back to us. It wants to take control of healthcare, just as it has taken
control of education, and ration it back to us, and when government
rations it, then government decides who gets it, and how much, and
what kind. And if we go along with it, and do it willingly, then we will
wind up no differently than the people of Egypt did four thousand years
ago - as slaves to the government, and as slaves to our leaders.
What Mr. Obama's government is doing now is no different from what
Pharaoh's government did then, and it will end the same. And a lot of
people like to call Mr. Obama a "Messiah," don't they? Is he a Messiah?
A savior? Didn't the Egyptians say, after Pharaoh made them his slaves,
"You have saved our lives; may it please my lord, we will be servants to Pharaoh"?
Well, I tell you this -
I know the Messiah; the Messiah is a friend of mine;
and Mr. Obama is no Messiah! No, brothers and sisters,
if Mr. Obama is a character from the Bible, then he is Pharaoh.
Bow with me in prayer, if you will.
Lord, You alone are worthy to be served, and we rely on You, and You alone.
We confess that the government is not our deliverer, and never rightly will be.
We read in the eighth chapter of 1 Samuel, when Samuel warned the people
of what a ruler would do, where it says "And in that day you will cry out
because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but
the LORD will not answer you in that day." And Lord, we acknowledge
that day has come. We cry out to you because of the ruler that we have
chosen for ourselves as a nation. Lord, we pray for this nation. We pray
for revival, and we pray for deliverance from those who would be our masters.
Give us hearts to seek You and hands to serve You, and protect Your people
from the atrocities of Pharaoh's government.
In God We Trust...

Dear Friend,
I want to update you this morning on the health care battle here in Washington, D.C.
The debate on Capitol Hill is reaching a boiling point. The Democratic leadership in Congress has elected to bypass the accepted conference process – where both Houses of Congress work together to craft a final bill – and are instead working out a secret deal behind closed doors.
Many of us don’t like what politicians do when we can see them, let alone what happens when we can’t.
While the House-passed bill includes the Stupak-Pitts amendment (which prohibits taxpayer funding of abortions), the Senate-passed bill subsidizes insurance plans that cover abortions and, for the first time in history, could allow the federal government to require private insurance plans to cover abortions. With the pro-abortion Democratic leadership calling the shots, the final bill is bound to mirror the Senate’s version.
Thomas Jefferson once said, “To compel a man to furnish contributions of money for the propagation of opinions which he disbelieves and abhors, is sinful and tyrannical.”
And this is exactly what is at stake here, along with thousands (and perhaps millions) of babies’ lives which currently hang in the balance.
Americans United for Life’s legal team is working tirelessly to ensure that every member of Congress understands the deviously-written abortion language in the Senate bill and knows that this language is contrary to what the vast majority of Americans want.
A recent national Quinnipiac University poll found that 72% of voters don’t want public funding for abortion in the bill, and yet Congress continues to ignore the will of the American people.
Last week, AUL Staff Counsel Mary Harned briefed Capitol Hill staff members on the problems with the Senate bill. She presented some must-see charts on Abortion in Health Care which you can see by clicking here and here.
I know that there is much more to be done.
I also know that this fight is far from over, and if we all continue to put pressure on Washington, we will win this battle for life.
And, on that note, I want to remind you that we have a major opportunity coming up next week. The national March for Life in Washington, D.C. takes place on January 22nd, and we would love to hear from you if you are planning on attending.
Finally, we are working on an exciting new project that will give you the opportunity to participate in the March for Life, even if you cannot make it to D.C., so stay tuned for more information over the next few days.
As always, thank you for your generous and faithful support, which helps us to defend life here in Washington, D.C., across the United States, and around the world.

Abortion funding fight far from over
Dr. Charmaine Yoest, Marjorie Dannenfelser, Kristan Hawkins and David Bereit
Desperate times call for desperate measures, so they say. The abortion industry is right in the middle of these desperate times after their leader, President Obama, abandoned them in the midst of the health care debate. By not stepping in to ensure that the Stupak-Pitts amendment, which prevents the government from funding abortion, would not be in the health care bill, he seems to have left them out in the cold.
Maybe not. After the amendment overwhelmingly passed the House did the president step in to say it went too far and that he would work to strip it from health care? The betrayal of Sen. Ben Nelson, Nebraska Demcrat, certainly took a step in the right direction for the president when he caved on a phony abortion compromise that pushed the health care bill through the Senate on Christmas Eve.
But the abortion industry has certainly had its share of heartbreaks as well. Perhaps one of the worst betrayals came from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, an ardent pro-choicer herself, when she left the abortion lobby to fend for itself after letting Stupak-Pitts get to the floor for a vote.
So it's no wonder that Planned Parenthood, NARAL and their allies are using desperate measures to make sure that the government funds abortion through health care. They have supposedly sent coat hangers to the Democrats who voted in favor of the Stupak amendment and have attacked the Catholic Church for standing up for its deeply held conviction and teaching that all life is sacred and that the government shouldn't be funding abortion.
And they are outright trying to deceive the American public on the merits of the Stupak amendment.
Earlier this month, New York Democratic Rep. Nita Lowey claimed that the Stupak-Pitts Amendment "puts new restrictions on women's access to abortion coverage in the private health insurance market even when they would pay premiums with their own money." Just days later, PolitiFact.com issued an analysis and said her comments were "false."
Planned Parenthood's cover has been blown. Before the vote on Stupak-Pitts, there were no uproars from the abortion lobby about government funding of abortion in the health care bill. There were no send-your-legislator-a-hanger campaigns. Why? Because they were hoping this issue would slip under the radar and that the bill would pass without any specific exclusion of abortion, which would ensure that abortion would certainly be funded by the government.
But pro-life groups like ours were making noise and demanding abortion funding be taken out of health care legislation. And we will continue to do so as the House and Senate bills have to be reconciled.
And if it weren't for the Michigan Democratic Rep. Bart Stupak's perseverance and courage - and the courage of those who voted with him - the abortion industry could have very well pulled the wool over the eyes of the majority of Americans who do not want their tax dollars funding abortions.
But it's not over yet, far from it. The Senate bill provides for government-funded abortions and the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops calls it "the worst we've seen yet."
These are certainly desperate times. Our nation has come to a well-defined fork in the road. President Obama and Congress can either choose to protect the status quo or fund abortion and ram an unpopular and immensely immoral bill through the legislature. It is our hope that the nation does not choose to fund abortion with government money.

WISDOM OF CHRIST JESUS FOR US
Wisdom Of Christ Jesus For us
Paul wrote the Letters of Corinthians. Paul had founded a church in the city of Corinth. These letters were a corrective response from Paul whom had heard they were having problems Corinth was a pagan society, that was the Hub of worldwide trading center & the problem was that the Church of Corinth had gotten caught up in a lot of it's life-style. Lawsuits, faction, immorality, abuse of the LORD Supper, & the Spiritual Gifts. Paul also counsel them.
Paul wrote as a relevance of Christ Jesus for the believers every day life. Christ Jesus became wisdom from God, also righteousness, sanctification, & redemption.
1 Corinthians 1:30
But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God -- & righteousness & sanctification &
redemption --
Christ Jesus isn't just a High Priest - to purchase, King to secure, a Prophet to reveal the salvation of God.for those whom love Him. Christ Jesus is made of God unto wisdom. In Christ Jesus is hid the treasures of wisdom & knowledge.
From Andrew Murry book on Prayer: pg 42
"And of God you are in Him & have but to abide in Him to be made a partaker of these treasures of wisdom. In Him you are, & in Him the wisdom is. Dwelling in Him, you dwell in the very fountain of all light. Abiding in Him, you have Christ, the wisdom of God, leading your whole spiritual life & being ready to communicate, in the form of knowledge, just as much as is necessary for you to know. Christ is made unto us wisdom; you are in Christ."
We need to be in closer union with God by abiding in Him. Don't you want the treasure of God's wisdom? His spiritual life, & to communicate with God? Abiding in Jesus will open your lives up to fellowship with God.
Abiding in Jesus is the true knowledge of God, You. would have Their love, Their power, Their infinite glory.
1 Corinthians 1:23-24
23) but we preach Christ crucified to the Jews a stumbling block & to the Greeks foolishness
24) but to those who are called, both Jews & Greek, Christ the power of God & the wisdom of God.
So, we must abide in Christ Jesus.
Romans 1:4
and declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead
Colossians 2:2-3
2) that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, & attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father & of Christ.
3) in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom & knowledge
Doesn't this want to make you shout unto the LORD? It does me to give God praises. To abide in Jesus & be found in Him!! Follow our LORD. Fellowship with Him. Give Him your HEART.
2 Corinthians 4:6
For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Remember you are in Christ.whom God has made to be wisdom. Be in prayer to Christ, talk with Him as a person. Be rooted deep in Christ Jesus. Seek God First.

Unemployment is up in December 2009, Not down
By Lucia Mutikani
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. employers cut 85,000 jobs in December, confounding expectations the labor market was finally stabilizing and piling pressure on President Barack Obama to spur job growth.
The jobless rate held steady at 10 percent, the Labor Department said on Friday, but it would have marched higher if a surprisingly large number of discouraged jobseekers had not left the labor force.
November payrolls were revised to show the economy actually added 4,000 jobs rather than losing 11,000, as initially reported, breaking a streak of 22 consecutive monthly losses. With revisions to October, however, the economy lost 1,000 more jobs than previously estimated over those two months.
Unemployment remains the Achilles heel of the economy's recovery from its worst recession in 70 years, with job creation critical to sustaining the recovery when government stimulus fades.
"The jobs numbers ... are a reminder that the road to recovery is never straight. What this underscores, though, is that we have to continue to explore every avenue to accelerate the return to hiring," Obama said, announcing new investments in clean energy.
Economists had expected a flat reading for payrolls, with the unemployment rate ticking up to 10.1 percent.
U.S. stocks rose, while government bond prices climbed and short-term interest rate futures gained as investors bet the weak jobs market would keep inflation tame and encourage the Federal Reserve to keep lending rates near zero for a long time.
Two Fed officials said on Friday they would like to see the nation's jobs picture improve before the U.S. central bank withdraws extraordinary support for the economy and markets.
Citing the continued gains in temporary help, seen as a precursor to permanent hiring, analysts argued the data suggested a broad trend toward a labor market recovery was intact.
The cold weather might have partially contributed to the surprise drop in payrolls, some said. Construction employment fell last month, with manufacturing seeing a drop as well.
"We believe there will be a break into positive job growth sometime in the first quarter and the unemployment rate is close to its peak. The (economic) recovery is gaining speed," said Michelle Meyer, an economist at Barclays Capital in New York.
In a separate report, the Commerce Department said wholesale inventories grew at the fastest rate in over five years in November and sales climbed strongly, implying businesses were preparing for a healthier economy.
Economic bellwether United Parcel Service Inc raised its fourth-quarter profit forecast on Friday, a step analysts said reflected improved shipping volume and economic recovery. However it will cut 1,800 jobs.
POLITICAL PRESSURES MOUNT
High unemployment is one of the toughest domestic challenges facing Obama. The administration's success in getting people back to work will shape prospects for Obama's political future.

Obama's popularity has steadily fallen, knocking his approval ratings down to around 50 percent. This could dim the election prospects for his Democratic Party in the November congressional elections.
Republicans said the steep fall in payrolls last month was evidence Obama's policies were not working.
The scourge of high unemployment is not only confined to the United States. Euro zone unemployment rate jumped to an 11-year high in November, and is likely to rise more in the coming year, data showed on Friday.
The U.S. economy shed 4.2 million jobs for the whole of 2009, according to the Labor Department's survey of employers.
The department's survey of households offered an even gloomier assessment of the job market, showing 661,000 people left the work force last month.
The report showed there were 929,000 "discouraged workers" who had given up looking for a job, up from 642,000 a year earlier. Chris Rupkey, an economist with Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, called the rise in discouraged workers "a simply astonishing number that borders on the frightening."
"If they were still looking for work and counted as the unemployed, the unemployment rate would have been 10.5 percent," he said. "This clearly isn't your father's recession. It is looking more like your great-grandfather's. Brother, can you spare a dime?"
The broadest measure of unemployment, which includes discouraged workers and those working part-time for economic reasons, rose to 17.3 percent from 17.2 percent in the prior month.
Still, the payrolls report, which is viewed by most economists as the more reliable gauge of the labor market's health, showed pockets of strength.
Professional and business services added 50,000 positions, while education and health services increased payrolls by 35,000. Temporary help employment rose 47,000, continuing an upward trend that shows a reluctance among employers to hire full-time workers but suggests they may need to soon.
The average workweek was unchanged at 33.2 hours, while average hourly earnings edged up three cents to $18.80.

Subject: P.U.S.H..
A man was sleeping one night in his cabin when suddenly his room filled with light, and God appeared. The Lord told the man he had work for him to do, and showed him a large rock in front of his cabin. The Lord explained that the man was to Push against the rock with all his might..
So, this the man did, day after day. For many years he toiled from sunup to sundown, his shoulders set squarely against the cold, massive surface of the unmoving rock, pushing with all his might!
Each night the man returned to his cabin sore and worn out, feeling that his whole day had been spent in vain. Since the man was showing discouragement, the adversary (Satan) decided to enter the picture by placing thoughts into the weary mind: (He will do it every time)!
'You have been pushing against that rock for a long time and it hasn't moved.' Thus, he gave the man the impression that the task was impossible and that he was a failure. These thoughts discouraged and disheartened the man.
Satan said, 'Why kill yourself over this? Just put in your time, giving just the minimum effort; and that will be good enough.' That's what the weary man planned to do, but decided to make it a matter of Prayer and to take his troubled thoughts to the Lord.
'Lord,' he said, 'I have labored long and hard in Your Service, putting all my strength to do that which You have asked. Yet, after all this time, I have not even budged that rock by half a millimeter. What is wrong? Why am I failing?'
The Lord responded compassionately, 'My friend, when I asked you to serve Me and you accepted, I told you that your task was to push against the rock with all of your strength, which you have done.
Never once did I mention to you that I expected you to move it. Your task was only to push. And now you come to Me with your strength spent, thinking that you have failed..
But, is that really so? Look at yourself. Your arms are strong and muscled, your back shiny and brown; your hands are callused from constant pressure, your legs have become massive and hard..
Through opposition you have grown much, and your abilities now surpass that which you used to have. True, you haven't moved the rock. But your calling was to be Obedient and to push and to exercise your Faith and trust in My Wisdom. That you have done. Now I, my friend, will move the rock.'
At times, when we hear a word from God, we tend to use our own intellect to decipher what He Wants, when actually what God wants is just simple obedience and faith in Him.
By all means, exercise the Faith that moves mountains, but know that it is still God Who moves the Mountains.

2010 Census things to be aware of
2010 Census to Begin
WARNING: 2010 Census Cautions from the Better Business Bureau
Be Cautious About Giving Info to Census Workers by Susan Johnson
With the U.S. Census process beginning, the Better Business Bureau
(BBB) advises people to be cooperative, but cautious, so as not to become a victim of fraud or identity theft. The first phase of the 2010 U.S. Census is under way as workers have begun verifying the addresses of households across the country. Eventually, more than 140,000 U.S. Census workers will count every person in the United States and will gather information about every person living at each address including name, age, gender, race, and other relevant data.
The big question is - how do you tell the difference between a U.S. Census worker and a con artist? BBB offers the following advice:
** If a U.S. Census worker knocks on your door, they will have a badge, a handheld device, a Census Bureau canvas bag, and a confidentiality notice. Ask to see their identification and their badge before answering their questions. However, you should never invite anyone you don't know into your home.
** Census workers are currently only knocking on doors to verify address information. Do not give your Social Security number, credit card or banking information to anyone, even if they claim they need it for the U.S. . Census.
REMEMBER, NO MATTER WHAT THEY ASK, YOU REALLY ONLY NEED TO TELL THEM HOW MANY PEOPLE LIVE AT YOUR ADDRESS..
While the Census Bureau might ask for basic financial information, such as a salary range, YOU DON'T HAVE TO ANSWER ANYTHING AT ALL ABOUT YOUR FINANCIAL SITUATION.
The Census Bureau will not ask for Social Security, bank account, or credit card numbers, nor will employees solicit donations. Any one asking for that information is NOT with the Census Bureau.
AND REMEMBER, THE CENSUS BUREAU HAS DECIDED NOT TO WORK WITH ACORN ON GATHERING THIS INFORMATION.. No Acorn worker should approach you saying he/she is with the Census Bureau.
Eventually, Census workers may contact you by telephone, mail, or in person at home. However, the Census Bureau will not contact you by Email, so be on the lookout for Email scams impersonating the Census.
Never click on a link or open any attachments in an Email that are supposedly from the U.S. Census Bureau.

Is this really a change. But, it still is going on
One more for the books....................
So, Let's Recap "2009".........what a year Huh???!
1. The American people elect a black president with a total of 142 days experience as a US Senator from the most politically corrupt state (city) in America whose governors have been ousted from office.
The President's first official act is to order the close of Gitmo and make sure
terrorists civil rights are not violated.
(honest mistake?)
2. The U.S. Congress rushes to confirm a black Attorney General, Eric Holder, whose law firm we later find out represents seventeen Gitmo Terrorists.
(An honest mistake?!)
3. The CIA Boss appointee, Leon Panetta, has absolutely no experience, has a daughter Linda, we find out, who is a true radical anti-American activist and a supporter of all the Anti-American regimes in the western hemisphere. (There were socio-economic factors involved!)
4. We got the second most corrupt American woman (Pelosi is #1) as Secretary of State; bought and paid for. (You can put lipstick on a pig, but it still stinks!)
5. We got a Tax Cheat for Treasury Secretary who did not properly file his own taxes for 12 years.
(He misspoke!)
6. A Commerce Secretary nominee who withdrew due to corruption charges.
(Another honest mistake???)
7. A Tax cheat nominee for Chief Performance Officer who withdrew under charges.
(Hmmm... another screw-up?)
8. A Labor Secretary nominee who withdrew under charges of unethical conduct.
(Ok, maybe this person was just plain stupid.)
9. A Secretary HHS nominee (Daschle) who withdrew under charges of cheating on his taxes.
(I'm running out of excuses for these idiots!!)
10. Multiple appointments of former lobbyists after an absolute campaign statement that no lobbyists would be appointed.
(Dear God, I am getting a headache!)
All this occurred just during the first three weeks. . . but who's counting?
America is being run by the modern-day Three Stooges ; Barry, Nancy and Harry and they are still trying to define stimulus..."it's spending!!!"
The congress passes the $800,000,000,000 (that's $800 billion) pork-loaded spending bill where the government gives you a smidgen of your tax dollars ($13 per week), making you feel so good about yourself [stimulated], that you want to run out to Wal-Mart and buy a new Chinese-made HDTV and go home and watch Telemundo!
Only with the Liberals....
Pray for our country.
Here's the good news though - Obama took Air Force One to Denver to sign the stimulus package, wasting as much as 10,000 gallons of fuel OR 24 JOBS FOR ONE YEAR.
Don't you just love hypocrites?
Speaking of praying, Obama has now been president for eleven months and yet he & wife (first lady) Michelle, the Christian family they claim to be, have not attended church since the inauguration.
He must miss Reverend Wright!
In these times 'I'll keep my God, my freedom, my gun and my money.
Anyone that supports this insanity can keep
"THE CHANGE".
Thank You Linda for sending this
Plus the Billion's of dollars the Senators spent of your tax money to fly to Copenhagen for the false global warning conference. It was on the Worldly News tonight by a watch dog of Government spending & how unnecessary it was. Senators & their wives.

Closing the Door on Health Care Negotiations is Unacceptable
Despite strong opposition to their plans for a government takeover of health care Speaker Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) were able to narrowly pass their misguided plans. Before legislation can become law, both the House and Senate have to agree to the exact bill. Typically, when the chambers pass legislation that has differences, members from the House and Senate are appointed to a conference committee to work out those differences.
Unfortunately, Democrat leaders have proven over the past year that they do not always like to follow the rules. From buying votes to forcing through legislation without allowing sufficient time for review, Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Reid have proven they will go to nearly any length to pass their agenda. This time is no different. Earlier this week, it was announced that they are bypassing the traditional conference committee process, denying a request from C-SPAN to televise the final negotiations and are planning to finalize the health care bill behind closed doors.
I have worked to increase transparency in the legislative process this year because I believe government functions best when it is accountable to the American people. It is unacceptable that Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Reid are shutting everyone out of this final debate. I will continue fighting for responsible reforms to bring down health care costs and ensure folks have access to care, and I will do so without cutting deals or shutting out the folks who sent me to Washington to represent them.
Hosting a Veterans Resource Fair
The men and women who serve our nation in the Armed Forces and their families sacrifice much in order to protect us from harm, and they deserve our support when they return home. That’s why I am hosting a Veterans Resource Fair next Saturday, January 16, at the American Legion Post 400 on Highway 24 in Topeka. We will be there from 10:00a.m.-1:00p.m. to ensure our veterans and their families know what resources are available to them. There will be representatives from organizations to assist with housing, health care, job-assistance and others. I look forward to meeting many of our veterans and their families. For more information about the Veterans Resource Fair, visit my website at www.lynnjenkins.house.gov or call my Topeka office at (785) 234-5966.
Seeking Nominations for National Medal for Museum and Library Service
Libraries across Eastern Kansas are hidden jewels in the communities they serve. From hosting story-hours for young children and other educational programs to providing access to information and other resources, local libraries deserve to be recognized for their outstanding public service. The National Medal for Museum and Library Service is the highest medal a public library can receive, and I am seeking nominations from Kansas libraries to submit one of our own for this distinguished award. For more information about the National Medal for Museum and Library Service, click here or call my Topeka office at (785) 234-5966.
Spending Time in Kansas
Between the snow storms that have hit our state over the past few weeks, I have enjoyed getting out to visit with folks across eastern Kansas. Earlier this week I attended the Douglas County Farm Bureau meeting to hear from their members about issues affecting Kansas farmers and ranchers. I also took some time to visit the Kansas Soybean Association at the 2010 Soybean Expo that was held at the Topeka Farm Show. Today I will be in Southeast Kansas attending the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce legislative breakfast. Then I will head to Iola to tour the Gates Corporation facility. Before heading back to Washington next week, I will also visit the Federal Home Loan Bank in Topeka to discuss banking issues.
