C.H. Spurgeon; All of Grace
pg. 120, 121
""Multitudes of godly men & women have exhibited lives so transparent, so consistent throughout, that none could gainsay them. The Lord will be able to say of many a believer, as he did of Job, when Satan stood before him, "Hast thou considered my servant, a perfect & an upright man, one that feareth God & escheweth evil?""
""This is the trumph of the saints -- to continue to follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth, maintaing our integrity as before the living God. May we never turn aside into crooked ways, & give cause to the adversary to blaspheme. Of the true believer it is written, "He keepeth himself, & that wicked one toucheth him not." May it be so written concerning us!""
Praise God that we as true Christians can stand as Job did! A perfect & an uprigfht mean. Wow! That our Lord goes everywhere we go. Ane if we keep ourselves in the Lord; the wicked one toucheth us not!
Now that is something to really get excited about!! Just think of it!! Praise God!!
